Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here :)

My name is Tracey and I am 22(and a half). I have two boys, Jayden, 3 1/2 and Bailey, who turned 2 last Friday. We live with my partner Matt. He has a daughter, Charlotte, 17 months. We have her, along with her sister(Matt's ex's daughter), Elizabeth, 2 1/2, 2 to 3 days a week.

Matt works at Burswood casino as a bar attendant, but is looking to go work up north in Karratha on the mines. I'm currently not working, but am starting uni next Monday. So exciting!:)

Anyway, I can't wait to get to know you all and I hope that there are some Perth mums who would be interested in having coffee sometime!

Tracey.

Are you guys going to the Zoo meet?

Would you be interested in meeting up before then? At least I'd know one person at the meet then lmao.

I'm going to the Zoo meet, as I have no life and thought I should make an effort! LOL! i'm free all the time, so if you ever want to meet up in town or something, I'm keen. I haven't met anyone face to face yet either! (Only been on the site for a month or so)

Sounds good guys :)

I always try and meet someone before the meet so I know someone when I go. It can be scary meeting a group of people when you don't know any of them.

Anyway, I'll get back to you on when I'm free, I find out on Wednesday what my uni hours will be.

Hi guys! Welcome Tracey!

It is great to see that you are going to come to the Zoo meet. I have been to all the meets so far & everyone is really friendly so no need to feel nervous or anything!
I am looking forward to chatting to you & meeting you at the Zoo!

I am always up for a coffee (or anything social with other mums! ) & I would love to chat if you like. My MSN is in my profile.

Hi Tracey and welcome to Bubhub

I second (or third) the notion not to be nervous about meeting us at the zoo... I know it can be daunting... but we are pretty nice people.. (well, most of us are, I'd watch that Tash person if I were you ;) )

I am also up for a coffee before if you like.. pm me and I'll send you my mobile number.

What part of Perth are you in?

Hi and Welcome Tracey
I'm another Perth mum :) I have 3 munchkins and we live SOR. Where abouts in Perth are you from?
I go back to uni next week too - this should (hopefully) be my last year :) What are you studying and where ? I'm doing teaching at ECU - Mt lawley.

? I'm doing teaching at ECU - Mt lawley.

Hi Rhoxie I did that (secondary) many years ago when Mt Lawley first built their theatre... good luck for this year! :)

What year did you graduate ? my hubby graduated in 1998 ( he did primary though)
My cousin did secondary but he only just finished ... big kids with attitudes scare me ... so I'm doing early childhood K-3 :)

Wow, you girls don't waste any time replying to these posts do you? lol.

I can't add anyone to msn or anything atm because I'm using a computer at work. But today is my last day anyway. I'm trying to waste time because I've finished my work for the day(forever lol), but my other half is at work, so he can't pick me up and his mum works here too, so I have to wait til she's done to get a lift home!

I'm living in Gosnells atm, we're renting a place in the new area of Gossie, the house is only 2 years old. However, we will be moving mid year, I'm not sure if we'll stay in Gosnells/Huntingdale, or possibly move NOR.

I'm also going to ECU, but the Churchlands campus for my first year. I'm doing Diploma of Hotel Management. Second through fourth year is Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management and that's at ECU Joondalup, so that's the reason why I'm thinking about moving NOR coz it's a far hike from Gosnells. I want to move before next year as my oldest son will be starting kindy next year.

Anyway, thanks for all the replies. I can't wait to meet you all and I'll definitely pm you or add you to my msn and have a chat!!

I desperately need to meet some new people, my old 'mummy' friends have run out of time to hang out and my non-mummy friends want to do non-mummy things all the time.

Hi,
I am a perth mum I live in heathridge, still deciding on whether to go to the zoo meet as Tyla is only 61/2 weeks and would'nt really get much enjoyment out of it and my partner is working on that day and he would really like to be there the first time she goes to the zoo but if anyonewants to catch up for a coffee just let me know I only work saturday mornings at the moment.
Kelly:)

Hi kelly, it's a bummer ur partner has to work that day. I took my son Jayden to the zoo when he was 6 weeks old. And you're right, they don't get much out of it. But it was a young mums meet(most of whom I'd met while I was pregnant with him) and he loved all the cuddles that he got from everyone.

I would love to meet up sometime for coffee, I just have to wait and see what my uni timetable is like to see when I have some free time!

Hey guys, don't feel nervous, i was so nervous to meet everyone when i made a meet time. i hadn't met anyone yet and most of them had met before. It was really good and everyone talks to you. I had a really good time. It isn't as daunting as you think. :D
I say give the zoo a go! :)

I'm pretty certain I'll be fine...I don't shut up...ever...

But I know there are people who ARE nervous, which is why I offered to meet up with them seeing as I've never met anyone from here either.

I'm so excited lol, bring on March!

My first degree was Tourism Management at ECU Joondalup (big hint : if you ever come across a lecturer called Vasu avoid him like the plague ! ;) )

I used to live nor when I started uni but we ended up moving south and I took the train each day -- which ended up being a big bonus as it gave me about 40mins of peace to read ! LOL

You don't live very far from me (I'm in Maddington) so if you ever want to come over for morning tea or meet up for coffee or go to the park give me a hoy :)

Also I help run a local playgroup so if that is of interest feel free to pop along for the morning (It's on a Tuesday and it's a new session for this year .. so everyone is new as we only started 2 weeks ago) .

Hey Tracy!

I too am starting uni this year. Next Monday in fact!! I am at Curtin doing Primary Teaching.

I used to go to ECU Joondalup. SOOOOOOOOOO far away from where I live (Como).

Anyhoo, welcome to this part of the world and I look forward to meeting you at the zoo! it will be Layla's first time and I haven't seen the mamas in ages so I can't wait!

Oh yeah, I think you also mentioned Karrratha?? I used to live up there. Hot, hot, hot. :o

:o :o erm my first year was WACAE, then they went to ECU in my second year.

I taught locally at Gosnells SHS, Cecil Andrews SHS and various primary schools around Maddington, Huntingdale, Thornlie, Gosnells when I was relief teaching.

I don't think I'll go back to it, I'm going for the Paramedics this year (again) so next year I might be back at Joondalup. (we'll see) :)

Hi Tracey

We live in Canning Vale. It's me, DH and my DD 14 1/2 months. I have a degree in Accounting and Management but originally was doing Accounting and Hospitality Management at ECU Churchlands but absolutely hated it. But loved Accounting so stuck with it.

I have met Rhoxie and she can vouch i'm not a crazy psycho mum (except when I see other babies - especially little, tiny weeny ones). I don't drive at the moment but love to catch up with you and other mummies
