Kay... you should be able to find free web-hosting fairly easily... back in my 'day'... there were heaps around.. Geocities (now taken over by Yahoo), Fortune City etc..
Maybe this site can help you..
http://www.free-webhosts.com/
(I'm a bit out of touch with free web-hosts.. because I pay for web-hosting now)
thanks penny.
i dont mind paying so long as i can change the title page. i dont want to be stuck with the birthday party one!

they are so cute he has about three different pairs ill be sad when he grows out of them hehe..
Dont worry they go right up to size 5. DS1 is 2 and into size 3 and he has those monkey ones!
Leashie - good luck with the move - I don't envy you 3 weeks without dh -that will be tough... but hopefully you can keep the end game in sight!!! You will be home soon - and then you will have your mum to spoil you rotten!! Good luck!
Like Liam, Riley & Eloise, Coen loves nothing better than to be on his knees crawling around the house... so l let him - he usually likes to stay within eyesight of me, so if l wonder off he follows, otherwise he just wonders around what ever room we are in... It was really cute today, l went to see Lauren & Jack off after our meet, l left Coen inside in the hall, when l went back to grab him, he had his face pushed up against the screen door - obviously looking for me!!! How cute!! And mum reckons when l leave her with him, he constantly goes into the study to see if l am there... hmmm me thinks l spend too much time on the computer!!
Kim - l checked out all your photos - very cute, l really liked the last one with his teeth - Riley looked very cheeky there!
Apart from some tough days here and there, these babies of ours are at a wonderful age - they are sooooo interactive now - whilst it can be full on - sometimes it is just so much fun!
Here's a little survey -- What's your favourite thing about this age? Least favourite??
I love how excited Coen gets when he has done something new, he looks at me to see if l am watching, l will smile and clap and he gets all excited and does a little dance (shaking the hips and head)
I dislike the amount of cleaning this age requires... give him finger food... spend half an hour cleaning it up... sweep/mop every other day or risk turning your child into a human duster!!!

yep  thats one of my fav pics too hehe... cheeky monkey he is!!
fav thing about this age?- Riley is so much more interactive, we can actually play together, and he says mum so that makes it all the more fun, just today he has started to clap his hands (well tries to but misses every 2nd clap) and he started curling his tounge, very smart boy but he doesn't get it from me lol
least fav thing about this age?- plan and simple TEETH!!! we still have these 4 teeth waiting to break threw they are so close!!
Favorite thing about this age - Everything!! I'm really enjoying it these days. Not that I didn't enjoy it in the early days..it's just so different now. Jack giggles alot, he is very responsive and he's less frustrated because he can crawl.
Least favorite thing - He hates being on his back...totally cracks it when I lay him down. It's a battle to change his nappy, dry him after his bath and dress him. Wev'e also been having a bit of seperation anxiety which is hard at times.
Leashie - All the best while your DH is away. I have missed mine sooo much and he has only been gone a week so I kinda understand how you feel :hugs:
I just have to share this video of Kaelan. Some of you saw it in chat tonight.
I was trying to film Kaelan saying "mum mum mum"... however Kaelan had other ideas... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLr11qkL7bI)
 :D
Only 2 more hours until DH is home :smiliedance::D :yelclap:
He's in Sydney now waiting for his flight to Melbourne!!!
Jack was up screaming again at 4am...and then did his little sheep poo's. Maybe I should stop solids for a few days? Has anyone had success with prune juice?
He also wanted to chomp on my finger so it could have been his teeth...not sure.
Anyhoo glad it's the weekend. What are everyone's plans?

I know how you must be feeling Lauren, the excitement after a days by yourself is what you wait for the whole time they are gone.
You got through it, well done.
We used prune juice, it sort of worked. Elly has always had strange pooh. Tends to be more solid than slush!!! Had nuggetts for awhile. Try the juice but perhpas some more fruit and water as well.
Thanks Marianne
Jack's allergic to pear otherwise I would be filling him up with it. I've been giving him paw paw all week as I read it was good for digestion...he had one softer poo after it.
Have you ever tried sugar in the water?
Have you ever tried sugar in the water?
Tred the sugar in the water when she was young, i guess trying anything won't hurt.
Have you also tried peaches?
Lauren - I would try the prune juice... not sure if you'd give it staight or dilute it down.
Your DH must be nearly home now... yay !!

No not yet....will get some today I think. It must hurt his little bum

His flight from Sydney has been delayed a bit  I'll be heading out to the airport in about 15 minutes.....:D

Hi Lauren,
When Jake had poo like this I gave him lentils. it's very good and clears them up!

I havent go time to post any personals but if someone's bubs is constipated try Pears and pear juice. Usually works a treat.
And to say a big happybirthday to my DS2 who turns 5 tomorrow
AND to show you what i stumbled across this morning...

I can't believe how in active and un mobile (mm is that a word) Elly is!!
I know we shouldn't compare bubs but unless she is sitting she hates being on the floor in any other matter.
He's back :smiliedance: And he bought me lots of presents.
I got 3 Kokeshi Dolls - they are pretty cute
Jack was a bit stunned at the airport..not sure what he thought. They've been playing together since he got home
Thanks for all the tips about Jack's poo too. I might give the Lentils a go. I've been thinking about starting him on some anyway
Hey Lauren, thought with DH having being away maybe you and he were playing??

I'm going to try lentils soon too. Are you going to try the brown or red ones? I was thinking of trying the red ones.
Liam has been a bit sick lately.....vomits after his formula which he hasn't done for ages....I'm thinking it's a combination of crawling not being able to sit still  . My clothes always have vomit on them these days.
Rooppee - happy birthday to your DS2 for tomorrow.
Lauren - Good luck with the party for tomorrow. Glad to hear DH bought you some nice Kokeshi dolls. It must be great to have him home again.
I'd better go....Liams getting into the electrical cables under the computer desk and it's time for his bath! Have a great weekend everyone.
Your back must be better then?????:laughing::laughing: Have fun!
No it's not really, I wish it was...poor DH will be having a dry spell AGAIN!!!
We were just out doing the grocery shopping and Jack broke the seat on the trolley  :o
i went shopping today and got this~
7pc glass table and chairs (http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l132/my_lot/eliswim.jpg)
it was marked down from $399 to several different prices.
i was standing at the checkout with my little monkey in the trolly and a $50 note and the boy at the checkout asked me for 5c then he handed me back $40 and the docket.. i showed the sticker to dp and he said "wow wonder why theyd price it at $10?" so he wasnt the only one who read it as that!
see, i had read it as $50.01 seems they read it as $10.05
i got the mowing done just before the hail hit. theres a lot of damage to the streets, branches on roads ect.
hows the car leashie?

Oh my FRUCKING God, how the hell do you score a sale like that.
Good work, Kay. Was it a national chain of shops?
Wow, great shopping Kay!!
Well we had Coen weighed and measured today - the first time since he was about 5 months....
so he has moved from the 75th percentile for weight and height to the 50-60th percentile. His weight is 8.6kg, length 71cm and h/c 44.9cm...
I guess when he got measured last time he was 5 months being compared to 4 month babies, and now he is 7 1/2 months being compared to 8 month babies... so there is a 6 week difference there which could account for his change in percentiles...
But l found out something very interesting today - well interesting to me - makes perfect sense and you guys probably already know - its just me being a dumb a$$ that l need everything spelt out for me...
If you have a hungry bub that weighs too much - cut down the booby juice / formula that is high in fat and give more solids which are low in kj but will fill bub up...
Vise versa - if your bub is on the lean side - and hungry... beef up the milk feeds (formula/breastmilk) - offer milk before every solids feed and at every opportunity...
Am l the only idiot that didn't automatically just know this??? Its such a simple concept... Anyway...
I got my hair cut and colored today :smiliedance: it has life again!!! Also went and got my test results back, iron a little low but not alarmingly so... so it seems the tiredness was just part of the sore throat l was fighting off for what seemed ages...
What else???
Oh Yeah for Lauren & Jack - Daddy's home:yelclap:
Hope the back is holding up okay Lauren!

I've had Liam sitting up in the trolley front bit for a while now. He loves it.
Have had an incredibly lazy day today. Good thing too as Liam turned it on late this afternoon.
Anyone got any tips on putting eye drops in a kid's eye by yourself? I'm finding it really hard. And if he starts crying his eye is impossible to pry open.
Hoping to eat some dinner soon. It's been one of those nights.

Marianne- it was from a big department store  while i was telling someone on the phone i had another look at that price sticker and the 50.01 is upside down to the description and the printed words on the sticker! it also has no dollar sign before the numbers. so the poor boy wasnt a stupid male after all i just had my mummy brain switched on and was reading upside down!
whats your fave thing about this age? the way he can interact with the other kids now. there are toys they can play together (duplo lego, cars, bath toys) he knows "round and round the garden" and "peek-a boo" games. hes a lot less demanding on me now so hes happy to sit on the floor of the shower and play while i shower. hes happy to play on his own for a little while, is easier to take out and is fun to take out. i can now give him finger foods while im out and can sit with him rather than feed him. it is a fun age and the start of better things to come.
least fav thing about this age? the high pitch screach he's just started to do! the tantrums when i take something he wants (even tho i swap) or hes stuck in his carseat and wants OUT. the way he can climb straight out a sliding door, over the slide part and down a step - he has no fear.
ds just told me when the hail hit today his teacher ran outside to her car and threw blankets all over it and the other teachers went out to help and the kids all watched from the windows. he said they all got really wet but they had to do it it was "cos she has a really spensive car". beebeebbarinabout15yrsold must have leather seats  judging by ds rush to get it all out of his mouth it must have been pretty exciting to watch- he had a great day!

Mon I used to have his trouble when bub had conjunctivitis (sp) i had to hold her body down with my leg and then hold her head with one hand and if you but the drop/s in the corner closest to his nose it will go in when he opens it as long as he is laying flat.
Hope this helps
Lauren :smiliedance: :yelclap: :hugs: Valentine for Dp coming home now tell him your going away for a few days and leaving bub with him:laughing: Can you imagine the reaction.

Hi Ladies,
Just a short post as DH has arrived home a couple of hours ago from a week away and I'm totally stuffed and so I'm off to bed.
The pic of Mia and Elly is so cute. It is very different having more than 1.
I will check in again tommorrow and post more then.
Good night.
Morning all!
Just thought i would pop in to say hello.
Not much happening here today, its raining so it could be a slack day today. DP wanted to go to his mum and dads to finish repraying his rx7 but i dont think that will happen now its raining.
Cassidy kinda got on the move last night. Kinda commando crawling. She has found it easier and faster to go backwards and can get across the room pretty fast now. She just needs to master going forwards rather than backwards now! She was kinda doing this but would get frustrated and stop as soon as she started. Last night she managed to explore our whole living area, kitchen and study.
Anyway best be off for now!

I never knew this...I always thought milk was the most important. So in saying that I should be increasing Jack's solids then??
I've had Liam sitting up in the trolley front bit for a while now. He loves it.
Jack holds onto the front bar and bounces up and down in the seat...hence the broken bit :o
Good luck with the party, Did you get everything done.
The party's still not for 2 weeks. He's meant to be going back to China then BUT looks like it will be later now so fingers crossed he will be here to help out. He'll probably be in China for my birthday instead

Jack started by going backwards....didn't take long for him to figure it out. GO Cassi
US - We had a stand off in the night and after an hour of screaming I finally caved and fed him at 5am. He screamed until the let down came too...so I'm assuming it was hunger. Had a big feed also. DH noticed that he had grown in just a week so maybe it is another growth spurt?? He has unlimited b/f during the day as well as 2-3 solid meals (depending on the day) I'm not sure how he can still be hungry....Maybe it's worms??
Not much doing here today...DH has some housework to do as I can't bend with my back - darn shame about that ;) I'm sitting in my new robe for Japan....very noice!! :D
happybirthday to your DS for tomorrow tn we are sending lots of HYPO vibes :wizard: for you

  Funny how the :wizard: works for things like this but remember when we used it to bring our little:devil6: angles on it didn't.
Hope he has an early night
Well i don't think i told you guys but on Tuesday DP was on his way home from work (in my car) and pulled up at the lights and the car in front of him reversed into my car to get into the other lane well we went to get quotes yesterday and its only my bumper bar that needs fixing but is $880 we are insured but i don't no if they are and i'm worried the other guy wasent and will come back and say that DP ran up hiss @ss.
I'm so p!ssed cause if he trys to blame DP there is another $400 we have to find on top of this move.
We also got hail damage from the storm the day after tha accident.
So i'm a little stressed ATM and feel like i can't get on top of things. Its just one thing after another.
Anyway Marissa started saying *ah oh* today and now thats all i hear its so cute.
Ok talk later
:babydust2: Leashie
I tried giving Kaelan some sliced pear in that mesh feeder thingie today... but he was totally clueless... could not grasp the concept at all. DF thinks that because K won't accept a dummy, that he is going to have trouble using the mesh thing because it is designed very similiar to a dummy. I also tried giving him the pear in slices, but it is just too slippery... I'm going to have to give this more thought.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and not having to work it all like me :)

what if you tried to give him raw pear chunks - def less slippery. or could he try using a fork? what about hand feeding chunks straight into his mouth?
we are having a few routine changes around here...
- she rolled in bed swaddled today so she is now offically not being swaddled anymore. COLD TURKEY. i am worried - it has worked so well for us so far.
- trying to wean the dream feed still
I never knew this...I always thought milk was the most important. So in saying that I should be increasing Jack's solids then??
Yep, l milk is still the most important, but where you are trying to balance weight as long as they are still getting milk - to stave off hunger (and still limit their calories) increase the vegies and just drop the boobie juice a bit - maybe this is what your very rude doctor was trying to get at without explaining. The MCHN l had was a fill in for the usual one - and she was fantastic... wish we had her all the time!
Jack holds onto the front bar and bounces up and down in the seat...hence the broken bit :o Oops
Leashie - Sounds like you're having a run of bad luck and just plain hassles :hugs:... keep concentrating on that end game -- feel the love radiating from your Mum... every box you pack brings you one step closer to it!!!
BTW - l hope the guy has insurance - and fesses up to it - sometimes they have insurance, but just say they don't so they have to pay their excess - if they say they don't - and they look like having no intention of paying - tell them that you are going to take them to court to get the settlement - even if you aren't - hopefully this will get them to fess up. I'm guessing DH didn't get anybodies details down as a witness?
Went to mum's today... it was good, but she annoyed me a bit when l put Coen down in the portacot - he cried ... she kept coming in saying do you want me to put him down -- does she think its easy for me to listen to him cry??? In the end l said - fine if you think you can, so she sat with him and patted him until he fell asleep - all well and good - but l can't do that everytime -- and sometimes kids just have to cry a bit! He doesn't do this at home in his cot - ever anymore. Perhaps l need to put him to bed in the portacot at home from time to time so he gets used to it.
I sometimes use the portacot as a bit of a playpen - do you think this is going to confuse him??? (obviously it has toys in it when its a playpen and blankets when l want it as a bed)
Have a great night everyone - have a friend coming over for dinner tonight and poker!
i think last night was the last night Cassidy will be getting a bottle before bed. She screamed until i took it away from her. She then went to sleep so i am guessing she doesnt want it anymore.
Happy birthday to your DS Tanya!happybirthday
Ended up at the inlaws tonight. Not happy i have a splitting headache and just want to go to bed. Just using their internet for the moment
An in law of mine has a 9 month old baby with an unusual head shape. It is narrow and quite Long. He has always had some obvious ridges on his head. His anterior fontanel seems quite small compared to my 8 month old's one.
His head has always been unusual but it hasnt gotten any better as he has gotten older. Overall his head is quite small but he is a small baby anyway.
His mother doesnt bother with CHN and rarely goes to the dr so i doubt he has had many measurments of growth taken.
Here is my question. She is a very sensitive person and is it worth mentioning to her my concerns about his head shape? she will likely get quite upset at me and not talk to me for ages. I just worry that if his plates are fusing too early than this could cause problems in his future and then i would feel really guilty if i suspected and said nothing.
what should i do girls.
Tan i know i am a litle late but a heap of big red cordial sneezes to you.
Hope R had fantastic day.

... unusual head shape...
I'd definitely say something. Even if she doesn't do anything immediately, at least she will be thinking about it rather than being oblivious. Plus, you have to think of the bub, not just the mum's feelings.
Not sure exactly what I would say though. Tough one.
Us - Liam had such a bad feed before he went to bed. Hope he doesn't wake up for one in the night... I'm so tired already.
Solids vs Milk -My MCHN said that now that Liam is getting older, food is becoming equally as important as milk.
Penny - Try putting the pear slices on a paper towel to drain for a few minutes, then rotate them and keep draining. Might make them easier to hold, at least initially. We used to do this for various fruits when I worked at a cake shop decorating cakes. There was a dome-shaped custard flan thing we used to make, and the fruit would slide off if we didn't dry it first. Very odd in hindsight.
Secret Santa - Are we doing presents for the bubs or the Mums? I think someone asked earlier but I couldn't find a reply anywhere.
Leashie - Sounds like you're having a run of bad luck and just plain hassles :hugs:... keep concentrating on that end game -- feel the love radiating from your Mum... every box you pack brings you one step closer to it!!!

It may confuse him does he sleep at your mums when not in the porta cot?

what should i do girls.
I would say something in a nice way like maybe say that a friend from bubhubs bubba is having problems with its head and see if she brings up that her baby has a funny shaped head?
Do you no if the bub sleeps on its side?
That could be a cause of the strange shape
Maybe just check the soft spot and see if its there still and if it is i would imagine its ok.
Some babys do just have different shaped heads.
Hope this helps, as i have no idea about this sort of stuff.
I remember some one in her saying that they where seeing a dotor about there bubs head( can't remember who it was) maybe you could talk to them.
Good luck with the new changes.
No Tan tonight DS must have worn her out today.
Have a good night guys
Mon we posted at the same time.

It's a bit early for me to think of anything else. What does everyone else think?

Yay! :yelclap:
I have to say though, for a second I thought you were making a pregnancy announcement. I always fall for the pregnant pause!
No teeth here still. Liam still pushes backwards and round in circles. I don't think he understands how his knees work.
Lauren - Yes, Liam was up for a feed around 11pm. Also woke and cried at 5am but I left him and he settled after 10 minutes or so. Another 2 mins of fussing around 7am and 8.30am, but he fell asleep before I got there. Didn't actually get up until 10am!
...His head has always been unusual but it hasnt gotten any better as he has gotten older. Overall his head is quite small but he is a small baby anyway. Hard call - will she listen do you think? Sounds like you want to mention it - and it will keep playing on your mind if you don't - I remember you bringing this up ages ago - it obviously hasn't changed much in the intervening weeks/months... you're just gonna have to go with your gut on this one l think Sharon!!! Good luck - l can almost guarantee that she won't take it well - but hopefully when she has a moment to think on it she will get it checked out just to be sure - then she might appreciate you taking the time to notice.
The survey sounds like a good idea Lauren. Perhaps we could post a couple of questions on here and then answer them on our own Zoints pages - once we get our bub we can then check out the relevant page???
Went out for yum cha today!!! Yummy - l love yum cha. What a glorious day!!
Oh my booba did a few cute things today... DH bought him in for a feed this morning (7am) l was tired after a late night so l fed him in bed, but it was funny cos l had barely uncovered my breast when Coen (on all 4's) was trying to attach... he looked like a bird of prey going in for the kill... then he had a rest and tried to reattach to my stomach, then my arm... l think this boy things l have milk coming out of every pore on my body...
2nd cute thing, when l got back from yum cha, Coen kept crawling over to me and trying to climb up on me... (the climbing is new)... l would put him down and walk away and he would come chasing after me.... climb up on me again... he had just eaten solids so l didn't think he was hungry, but when l gave in and decided to try him on the boob... he WAS hungry!!! Isn't it just so adorable that he knows what he wants and was taking it into his own hands to organise it??? (and l like that he was being so polite about it...no screaming or carrying on, just a quiet insistence that he wanted to be on and near me)....
This age ROCKS!!! I love it!

How amusing! I can't wait until Liam gets a bit more mobile (although I'll probably regret wishing this).
Yep. I'm liking this age too. Although I just came back from the hospital visiting on of my family friends who had a baby boy, Ryan, on Thursday. He is the same weight that Liam was, but he looks tiiiiiiiny! I went back and looked at some first day photos of Liam and I think Liam definitely looked bigger because he has a big head.
I got really clucky too. Very unlike me. I think it was a lot of reminiscing about the newborn stage, a lot of which I have forgotten... or blocked out.

Three teeth at once! Busy bub! At least you are getting the teething out of the way in batches.
Us - We're heading out for dinner tonight at 6pm for a family friend's birthday. Liam usually has an afternoon sleep from 3.30pm for an hour or two, but because he slept in today he is still awake. Hope he behaves himself tonight. :fingerscrossed:
Hi girls,
We had a GREAT day today with kay and her boys at the Museum we spent the whole day in there and southbank and had heaps of fun our older boys had so much fun together.
Marissa was VERY interested in Eli and kept getting on top of him LOL.
It was a long day and both my kids where asleep before we left the car park. And Andrew (after a wobbely For waking him when we got home) went straight to bed and hasn't got up.
Kay had to get pics as my batteries in my camera died so she will post one when she can.
So thanks for a wonderful day Kay it was great to have a gossip and relax without stressing about my move.
Cant wait to do it again.
How was every one Else's weekend??
hi everyone
well as alicia has said we had a fantastic day! im so happy i got to meet Marissa ~ another feb 5 baby.
alicia and i got along very well and enjoyed the day and our kids having fun.
alicias DS is a real little character, fun loving and full of life hes a kid id have over to play at our house anytime. as always my DS loved having a boy to play with as hes a little swamped down by girls!
the boys got along very well. enjoyed the fun and games at the museum and had lunch at the park together. the babies ate grass and while the boys did a bit of tag team slide hogging in the park and made a "halo wearing toddler" mumma to get ticked off at alicia :p
marrisa is as cute as every picture ive ever seen! and she looked so pretty in her white frilly shorts! oh so girly with her earings too (did i ever mention i wanted another girl!!:D )
shes on the move and its a funny move too. im so glad eli isnt the only bub with a funny crawl! she loooved eli to bits and hes not used to anyone whos under walking age so while he was a novelty for M she was a bit of ho hum to him and he seemed more interested in her toys and eating the grass!
ill post some pics in our feb meet ups thread tomorrow.
but HERE (http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l132/my_lot/brissydayout006.jpg) is one for now
 She looks like she is being soooo gentle in that photo when really she is about to latch on
Morning all!
They learn to go backwards first. Yay Cassidy.
I'm sorry to hear about your car. That's just really bad luck. Fancy reversing. Yould think they got their licence from a weetbix packet.
Oops
I used to nurse Jake till he was 18 months. Don't worry what people say, you need to do what works for you. My mother can't stand to hear B and M cry but I just say bad luck. It is hard to hear them cry and so I empathise with you on that note. Keep up the good work, it does get easier.
I would say something. Maybe give her the name of a good paediatrician and let her make the choice herself. It's always a difficult one knowing what to do and ultimately it's her decision.
I'm sorry I missed the chat last Thursday but for some reason I couldn't log onto the chat.
As for us. We had a busy weekend and as a result the kids are just exhausted. Went to bed really easily tonight. Here's hoping that I get a good nights sleep.
Well I'm off to bed and I'll speak to you all tommorrow.
Luv Angel Musik Babee

Hi, I always forget to check in here, oops
Well Trinity is doing well, she is crawling properly now and gee she sure can move, I forgot how fast bubs can be LOL
Eli and Marissa look gorgeous in that photo Valentine
I've had a psycho baby the last 2 days...finally this morning most of his front tooth has broken thru. I was trying to feed him during the night but he was screaming and kicking me so hard I couldn't get the let down....which is what he was screaming and kicking me for. Seems boob was the only thing that would fix him up.
He's been onto EVERYTHING this weekend....not good for my back having to chase after him. Jack's also learned how to open draws in the kitchen...
DH is quiet sick. Looks like an ear infection.
Were off to mini maestro's today....it's going to be a warm one for Melbourne too

Liam was very well behaved at the restaurant last night. Was a lovely night out! I was hoping to give him his last feed before leaving so I could put him straight to bed from the car, but he was too distracted.
He ended up waking at 1am, had a big feed, then threw up all down my chest, between my cleavage. Ewwwwwww!
Oh, Liam also managed to break a plate at the restaurant. Impressive!
Hi everyone!
Lily had a really good day yesterday. She found it a bit hard to get to sleep without her swaddle but once she was asleep she slept well in the daytime. Last night she woke up once and cried but settled herself in about 10 minutes. I think that the swaddle used to keep her much warmer - her little hands are quite cold in the morning.
One of my favorite things at the moment is the first breastfeed of the day. DH gets lily and she hops underthe covers with me and affer a cuddle has a lovely feed. AFter she has finished i sit her up in the bed and she looks at herself in the mirror and she waves goodmoring to herself. Melts your heart. Who would have thought we would become such a great boobfeeding team after all those initial problems. i am so proud of myself.
We have redoubled our efforts with more tummy time practice. she prefers sitting and standing but i really want her to crawl first before she walks ( it is less far to fall).
Wasted the last 40 mins on ebay when i should have been doing something- now lily is awake!!!
D@"m you ebay (*shakes fist at computer*)
thats great on the day sleep not wrapped , sharron. im not sure when ill do this i havent given it a lot of thought. he rolls onto his tummy now but seems to have his hands free everytime he does it.
ive posted pics of our brisbane day out in our feb gatherings thread.

Aaaah.... sounds lovely! On the weekends, DH changes Liam and brings him into our bed. I give Liam a cozy feed lying down, then we all play (peek-a-boo is a favourite lately) before we all get up and have breakfast. I really enjoy the weekends just for these moments.
I wonder if having another baby would change things? I think I'd feel guilty not being able to give both kids the same kind of attention that I'm able to give Liam now. But at the same time, I don't want L to be an only child. I guess you just grow some more love to give.

We have numbers 6 and 7 through  and, geez, it was a long night last night thanks to those teeth.
We have lovely snuggly feeds here in the morning too Sharon - it reminds me of when Eloise used to sleep next to me all night when she was very little, i miss that. Now i have to make do with dh

Good idea to start the secret santa thread.
I've just been trying to catch up with everyone's posts.......Liam, DH & I all have colds  . This hasn't stopped Liam from crawling all over the house, tearing up our newspaper, magazines and junk mail and trying to stand up and hold on to anything he possibly can
Liam still doesn't have any teeth through yet. He's been extra dribbly lately so maybe sometime soon? It looks like they will pop through soon but I've been saying that for ages now.
Sandy - I must get Liam weighed soon. He was in the 75th percentile but I have a feeling he will now be lower as he's lost some baby fat.........his legs are less chubby.
Those of you feeding bread to your bubs, do you give white or wholemeal? We usually eat wholemeal or multigrain in our house and I thought of trying w/meal but not sure if this is okay?

:hugs: Jo hope your feeling better soon it sucks when your sick and have little ones.
Good luck with that tooth.:D
On the bread i give marissa white and w/meal but not multigrain.
I give Cassidy multi grain bread as that is all we have in our house.
We havent had a problem with it and i am always watching her when she eats anyways.
Ill check in again tomorrow and go into the secret santa thread. I need sleep
we do wholemeal bread here too.
havent tried multigrain.
I read somewhere just yesterday (I think it might have been in one of the parenting magazines) that bubs our age aren't supposed to have multi-grain (I assume because of the choking hazard). Ideally they should be having wholemeal bread.
No update from me tonight... will do it another time. I've had 3 hours sleep in 36 hours so I'm completely stuffed (god bless shift work  ). Add to this that I found out today that I'm hosting mothers group here tomorrow and the place is a mess after leaving DP and Kaelan to their own devices over the weekend.
Gotta clean.. then sleep...
We only have mulitgrain here. so that is what lily has been getting - but i only so it as toast and not as bread. would the choking risk be risk of inhaling the seeds do you think?
Good morning!
Coen's asleep and l should be having a shower! I went to Physio class last night and l was complaining that l was bored with all the floorwork, so they have given me some real exercise... boy l am unfit!
Coen has started crawling to Darrin and l whenever he needs something... yesterday he did it whenever he was hungry... and then he did it when he sh!t himself... we didn't pick up the latter one right away!!! But it is sooo cute.... this morning when DH bought him in for his feed l had my back to Coen, so he just started crawling over the top of me, as soon as he found skin (any skin) he latched on.... LOL - it cracks me up!!!
Went to Michelle's place (my cousin) yesterday to catchup with her and Olivia, Coen wouldn't settle in the portacot.... l'm getting a bit nervous about it cos we are going down to Rosebud on the weekend (DH is doing the round the bay ride) -- what if he won't sleep??? He has no problem sleeping at home! This is the second time in a matter of days that he wouldn't settle in a portacot in a foreign environment! I think l had better practice a bit at home -- and l know this sounds whimpy - but l look forward to his sleeps - it will be hard going if l have to miss them cos l am training him to sleep in the portacot (a necessary evil l guess, unless somebody else has a bright idea )
How can Melbourne go from 30 to 17 in a day???

Sandy - Brian is also doing the round the bay ride on Sunday.....but he's only doing the halfway ride I think! Pity we aren't going to Rosebud too........sounds like fun. We didn't have any success with Liam in the portacot the first time but the 2nd time we did when we went to dinner at a friends place. I haven't got any bright ideas unfortunately, as Liam is erratic when it comes to these things.
Thanks guys re: advice on bread. I will start Liam on wholemeal I think. He can share the loaf with me and DH can stick to his multigrain.
One more question: does anyone make homemade custard or do you just buy the jar stuff? Do you add sugar to homemade custard? It already has some sugar in the custard powder I think and I thought we were supposed to avoid adding sugar to bubs food but the jar stuff has it anyway.
Well, hoping Liam sleeps well today as I need some rest myself to get over the cold.......he's a lot better which is good. He threw up for three days after each bottle feed & solids so I was a bit worried but it's gone when his cold went so must have been related to that.
I can't believe how close we are getting to Christmas........
sharon i think it would be because of the seeds too...but if shes never had a problem with it then why change?
youve been doing finger foods for a while, right? so its not like shes had slush and then your giving her multigrain bread as a first solid. Eli can handle so many things now that hes eating more chunk than puree...and at the age he is now, we were just starting farax with the last kid so its amazing to watch Eli and feels so "FTM" all over again sometimes!
we went down to the beach for lunch yesterday and gave him bits of everything we were eating. he even had some salad. he sucked the guts right out of a hotchip then threw it on the floor and stuck his hand out for more! the idea of that would have made me cringe with the last child but Eli can handle it.
congratulations to tanya :wizard:
Sandy - I'm in the same predicament with the port-a-cot....be interested to see how you get on this weekend. Good Luck! Jack LOVES the activity table too. Thanks for the lend. I'm so sick of Pooh Bear's voice though
Jo - Hope you feel better soon :hugs:
Bread - We do whatever is in the house. Yesterday Jack had DH's multigrain crust. He ate the whole lot...sucked away at it. I keep a very close eye on him when he has bread though and always check the roof of his mouth half way thru and after.
Us - Another screamer during the night...on closer inspection both Jack's front teeth are coming thru together. I must admit I'm losing my patience fast atm...my back is so painful  I've got pins and needles in my feet too - I know that's not a good sign
Looks like were moving too :( I'm trying not to think about it....too stressful. DH suggested Jack and I go and stay with my mum for the weeeknd of the move and he would have everything done by the time we got back. Might be an option. I HATE moving!! It sucks!!
I have Jack's 8 month MCHN check up tomorrow but on the weekend we weighed him on the scales at Safeway - 10.3 kgs  Guess I'll find out how accurate they are
Lauren where are you moving too? I have to admit that i hate moving too. Thankfully it looks like we are staying here for at least another year.
I have always given Cassidy multigrain bread as that is the only bread we have in the house. She has never had a problem with and it isnt like the seeds are huge either.
Ill b back to post more later, Cassidy is cracking it.
Lauren where are you moving too? I have to admit that i hate moving too. Thankfully it looks like we are staying here for at least another year.
Hopefully somewhere around here still.....I don't want to move too far away and we need to stay close to the city for DH's job
I really, reallly, reallly, really hate moving. This will be my 10th move

Hello,
I have DS1 in occasional care for the morning and Billy is snoozing so i thought id catch up.
Billy also eats anything. Last night ha had mashed potato and a keiv. He couldnt stuff enough in his mouth. He also has the occasional chippy aswell.
He is 'speed' crawling now which is pretty funny. He's so quick.
GGRRRR that would be right hes just woken ..........

Good morning all,
What's with the weather?
SuperFrog, Glad that Liam behaved himself at the restaurant. It's still easy to take him, as he gets older it will become more of a challenge. Take advantage while you can. I hate the vomitting after a feed. It always seems like more comes out then stays in.
Aaaah.... sounds lovely! On the weekends, DH changes Liam and brings him into our bed. I give Liam a cozy feed lying down, then we all play (peek-a-boo is a favourite lately) before we all get up and have breakfast. I really enjoy the weekends just for these moments.

B has 3 teeth with another on the way and M has 2 teeth. I hate it when they teeth. My two eat whatever we have at home. You can try wholemeal. If you can get him used to wholemeal he'll eat it when he's older. Jake loves wholemeal.
We only have mulitgrain here. so that is what lily has been getting - but i only so it as toast and not as bread. would the choking risk be risk of inhaling the seeds do you think?
I think so. I'm not a big fan of wholemeal so to be honest my kids don't really eat it.

If it looks like becoming a problem I would be putting him down for his daytime sleeps in the portacot at home. It might take a few days for him to settle in it. B and M sleep pretty much anywhere and in anything, because I've been working on it for a while. Jake never slept anywhere other than his bed, and it was hard when we went places. Keep working on it and it will happen.
I don't make homemade custard, but I cook the way I do for the rest of the family and B and M have that. In fact they really aren't too keen on the jar food.
As for me, I'm at home today. Got lots to do and hopefully I'll get through most of it so that I can sit and scrap tonight. I so miss being able to do this.
What is everyone else up to today?
Sandy - Brian is also doing the round the bay ride on Sunday.... DH is only doing half the ride too... we are making a weekend out of it given that the inlaws have a holiday home there. My cousin's husband is doing the ride too, so they will be staying in Rosebud with us.... two babies under the one roof, what are the chances of us getting any sleep??? Coen with his portacot issues and Olivia still wakes through the night
One more question: does anyone make homemade custard or do you just buy the jar stuff? Do you add sugar to homemade custard? It already has some sugar in the custard powder I think and I thought we were supposed to avoid adding sugar to bubs food but the jar stuff has it anyway.
I haven't made it yet, and although l know it doesn't do any harm, l am not keen on introducing sugar to Coen just yet (aside from the unavoidable bits like licking an ice-cream etc.) but l did find this recipe for your own custard...
100 ml baby's regular milk (formula or breast milk)
2 teaspoons of custard powder
Heat the milk, mix the custard with a bit of water so it forms a paste then add the milk to the water/custard mixture until it thickens.
Refrigerate what you don't use ... they suggest serving it with fruit.
I haven't tried this yet - but l think l will soon. Its the only recipe l have found without additional sugar.
Sandy - I'm in the same predicament with the port-a-cot....be interested to see how you get on this weekend. Good Luck! Jack LOVES the activity table too. Thanks for the lend. I'm so sick of Pooh Bear's voice though. thanks!! oops now your found my secret reason for loaning it to you
Us - Another screamer during the night...on closer inspection both Jack's front teeth are coming thru together.
It sucks!!
I have Jack's 8 month MCHN check up tomorrow but on the weekend we weighed him on the scales at Safeway - 10.3 kgs  Guess I'll find out how accurate they are
That can't be good about your feet, what is the next step for your back? do you have to wait it out? I have no experience with disc bulges... Is the voltaren helping at all? (aside from the pain relief - do you think it is helping with the inflammation?)
Good luck with MCHN - we weighed Coen at around 6 months ourselves and must have gotten it totally wrong - that or he hasn't put on much weight between then and now.
I can't believe you will have to move - that sucks!!! How long have you got?
Ooooh l just realised l have 100ml of EBM in the fridge (DH wouldn't let me go to Physio last night unless there was milk in the fridge, last week Coen woke up after l left - DH wasn't very happy with me)...
I am going to try that custard today... maybe... if l have time...
LOL i'll be in Rosebud over the weekend too. DPs business partner is running the Model Caravan park there at the moment (they are moving out in a few weeks) and we are going to visit them this weekend. It is also DPs older sisters birthday so we are going to Rye for a BBQ on Saturday night.
Got some fluffy mail this morning! LOL that has been the highlight of my day!
Cassidy is asleep at the moment. The poor girl has been totally buggered.
Anyway, back to cleaning my house!
I have a technical question maybe someone can help.
How do you remove a header and or footer from page 2 onwards in a document but keep them on the first page?
Thanks for your help.

Sorry Sharon - I'm rubbish on technical things so i won't even try and help!
Lauren - I hope you're feeling a bit better - are those pins and needles related to your back? :hugs:
Kay - yep, full time cloth here now. I use bamboo BabyBeehinds at night (in purple of course!) and they are great. I also have a bamboo Sandman (night nappy) and that's good too. When I met Tan she had just had a delivery of the babybeehinds (also in purple!) so you could see what she thinks of them as well.
Juzzy - what was your fluffy mail?? I'm so nosey!
I'm trying to up Eloise's food a bit here as she has been having less and less - I'm not worried but I'd just like to scale back the milk really. She likes any food that i give her so i''m sure we'll be fine, although we haven't tried custard! Dh and I never eat it so it never occured to me.
Ok, toddling off to mother's group now..shall i walk and risk the rain i wonder?

Just another thought on the custard - how about banana in yogurt or banana porridge? Then you don't need any sugar...they go down well here anyway :)

Hopefully somewhere around here still.....I don't want to move too far away and we need to stay close to the city for DH's job
I really, reallly, reallly, really hate moving. This will be my 10th move
Lauren, I really, really, really hate moving too. I like your DH's idea of going to stay with your mum while he moves. Will you see a Dr about the pins & needles?
Sandy - thanks for the recipe for custard using formula and custard powder. I will try this one!
Hannah - banana in yoghurt would definitely work for Liam........he loves banana
Shajake - I should know the answer to this but for the life of me I can't think what to do........I still have baby brain!
Better go.......Liam's asleep so I should take advantage of laying on the couch
Juzzy - what was your fluffy mail?? I'm so nosey!
I bought a Krap Katcher! LOL I'll take a photo after Cassi's bath tonight.
I am trying it out tonight.
Then i am planning, in the near future, to buy some more KKs and BBBs with a PUL cover for night time use (thanks for the suggestion Tan)
Sandy - when we got a new portacot I put it up in lily room with used sheets and her blankets and her woobie etc to get her used to it in the day and the night before we went away on holidays. I think you might be better if you dont put him to play in his portacot - maybe get a playpen instead to play in so that you can keep the the portacot for sleeping.
Maybe it is being in a different envirnoment that stops him sleeping - lily always seems to know to stay up when we are out - i think she thinks she will miss out on the party.
We went out for coffee this am and had our first offical baby caused accident.
Lily grabbed and tipped a hot coffee over her arm. It was really far away but she was on my lap and lunged for it. I poured water on it straight away and ran to the mothers room and put her in the sink and ran cold water on it for ages. She cried but i think she was more upset about the cold water than the burn. anyway she is fine - dh coudnt even tell which arm it was. but i had a cry myslef. everyone be ware of hot things - it happens so quickly!!

Welcome Young Mummy! I'm Mon, and my son Liam was born on Jan 25th... I was due in Feb though, so I consider myself one of the Fab Feb Mummas still.
I have a technical question maybe someone can help.
How do you remove a header and or footer from page 2 onwards in a document but keep them on the first page?
Thanks for your help.
I'm assuming you're using Word? Go to File > Page Setup. Select the layout tab and under headers and footers click the box 'different first page'. Feel free to PM me if you are still having probs.

It's good that you were able to think quick Sharon. Sounds like you got to it in time. When DH was 2 he apparently pulled a cup of tea from a table onto himself. He had lots of little burns over his chest, and the scars grew with him as he got older. So now he looks like he has had skin grafts on his chest as no hair grows in those patches.

Click on view header /footer, then on the toolbar click on page set up and in layout tab there is an option for a different first page.
I think you are right Sharon - no more play in portacot, and l think l might try the used sheets & blanket and start trying from tomorrow to put him to sleep during the day!
Jo - l tried Coen on the custard (l had 100 ml ebm in the fridge) -- he didn't like it, so l gave it another try with some mashed banana mixed in -- and it was a massive hit - in fact he started screaming at me when it finished!!! So easy to make too (aside from the expressing -- gotta find a way round that one)...
Mon - l thought l would try feeding Coen until he stopped today... but he ate all my vegies (2 serves - cos he didn't really eat much at lunch) + the custard with banana in it and kept opening up his mouth ... not sure whether my little piggy has a stop button - does Liam stop himself yet?
Hi Skye - welcome to the group!
That sounds horrible Sharon! A girl in my mothers group did this last week and ended up calling the ambulance.... since she told us l have been keeping my tea far away from him... l think we might have to stop using tableclothes as well cos l guess they can pull that as well
Weighed Lily today and she was 8.2kg.
She is still sitting on about the 60th percentile.
cant find the tape measure so i will do those measurements when i find it.
Hello to all, just a quick one for me for now..
Trying to organise to go away tomorrow, just me and the girls. Dh has to go away for work as well so will miss him.
I need some assistance as to prams. Might buy a new one when i hit the city!!! Poor Mia is getting tired little legs. Was think toddler seat? Anyone know of a good one?
I started looking through the pram threads but time is of the essecnce tonight.
Cheers M

As most of you will remember the same sort of thing happened with her DD and it turned out to be pneumococcal so i'm sure she is dreading the worst :fingerscrossed: its just something miner.

:smiliedance:my darling mummy has taken Riley for the night... maybe ill be able to sleep tonight!!
how is everyone?
i just did a quick scan of the post, hope everyone is well? Leshie how is Eli? :fingerscrossed: he is ok!
we took Riley to a kids play center today and the little bugger was climbing up things, OMG  i couldn't believe him he was being like a 12 month old climbing all over the place and playing with all the other kids it was so amazing, wish i had photos now!!
& last night i bought a tin of 1-3 years food for Riley to try because he had been eating everything from our plates and he scoffed it this boy is growing up too quick for me i don't know how to slow him down, he will be moving out of home before we know it..
Ok so how many teeth does everyone have now?? we have 7!!
& who is crawling, walking, comando crawling, rolling, sitting, or still lucky enough to have there bubs staying still??
Riley has been crawling for 2 months now and pulling himself up on things for 1 month and now is starting to try stand on his own and take steps, looks like we may just be walking by Christmas how exciting :yelclap: but scary at the same time..
anyways ill pop back in later and say hi but for now i need a relaxing bath.. night all!!
:fingerscrossed: for Eli & Kay - what an awful ordeal for her to go through!
Marianne - I know quite a few people who have purchased the Phil & Ted's purely because it has a toddler seat on it as well - but everyone l know is still on their first child so hasn't actually used it for two babies yet... sorry l don't think l was that much help. If you are looking at a side by side pram there is a choice report that rates them all... but l don't think they have a report for prams with toddler seats...
we are home..thanks for well wishes and thoughts.
we are on alert, we came home rather than childrens ward for observation.
what made me react in the first place- the cold hands and feet yet a huge temp (this was what dd had with the pneumococcal disease) have gone -well gone down, his temp is still up but not hitting 39 now!
dont know what caused the stiffening of his lower body. it wasnt like a fit just when he was being held and moved, so like he was in pain.
anyway hes alseep now, in our bed with dp. he hasnt taken his eyes off him. :fingerscrossed: for a good night and a healthy happy bubba in the mornin'

Just caught up on what's been happening Kay. Glad to hear things have improved. Hope you all have a stress-free night and Eli is back to his old self soon. :hugs:
please check in on the secret santa thread
Kay...How's Eli this morning?
We had a shocking night again - awake at 12.30, 3.30, 5 and then 6. We're trying to get him out of the wrap and after he woke at 12.30 I left both arms out....hopefully tonight will be better
Off to the MCHN today - I have soooo many questions
Ok so we have one tooth and we crawl forwards now! More like i huge lunge than a crawl but it gets her around so she's happy! The second tooth is all but there too- it all happens at once!
Is Tuesday night chats still on? I went in but no one was there?
Welcome Skye- Im Tanya- mum to 4 kids. Hope your PND is ok and a big welcome to the group!
Kay?- how is Eli this morning? Hope he's back to his normal self??
Lauren- gee your not getting much sleep are you! I hope your able to get some more tonight mate- that sounds terrible!:hugs: Good Luck at the MCHN- hope she has the answers your after!
Mummybunny?- How was your kid free night?? OMG what i wouldnt do for one of those! I hope you just lazed about- is she having him all day today too? Sounds like bliss to be able to wake up in the morning at whatever time you please!
I hope you enjoyed it and didnt miss him too much!
Marienne- its probably a bit late for this now but i have a Valco with a toddler seat and while its heavy and a bit of a pain i like the fact that the seat is at the top? Bay can see out, i think in the Phil and Teds- the seat is underneath so the toddler cant see much? Not sure but enjoy your shopping in the 'big smoke'

Hi Skye, welcome to the thread. Sorry to hear you have PND but glad you do have a supportive partner. That definitely helps.
Kay - glad to hear everything is now okay.
Sandy - Liam loves banana so I'll try the custard with banana in it. When feeding Coen how much do you call 2 serves of vegies? Liam will eat no more than 3 icecubes of veg in one hit. Since having the cold he is lucky to eat two though. I'm sure he's not eating enough solids but he cracks it when in the high chair after a short while!
I have a Steelcraft Transition pram which can have a toddler seat attached to the front.......not sure I would recommend it with this pram though as there's a risk of it tipping over..........these lightweight prams are a bit risky in that way so maybe the Phil and Teds is the way to go???
Yes, I know how careful we have to be with hot drinks.......Liam's tried to grab my coffee before so I try to keep it away from him.............even toddlers will pull a mug off a benchtop onto themselves so I guess we have to watch for this for a long time yet!
Still have this cold but hopefully we will be right for Friday at the baby expo. Missing mothers group today because of it.
Have a good day everyone.
8 Month Stats
Weight - 9.95kgs
Height - 71cm
Head - 46cm
No quiet as chub as I thought but not far off it...a big increase in length too from 6 months. She thinks the night feeding he definately needs. She said he wouldn't be so frantic otherwise. Guess I'll just have to ride it out.
Today he slept this morning with one arm out and was fine :yelclap: I actually had to wake him to make it to the appointment on time - I don't think I've ever had to do that!!!
Welcome Skye  I'm Lauren...I have one bub Jack. He's commando crawling and has almost 3 teeth (top two coming in now). Look forward to getting to know you.

You have great stories Kay... you could write a book of tails for expectant mothers... it would be a great gift to give to any mum to be who is getting overwhelmed by the thought of having a baby!!
Get this... our friend... the one who had the baby a few weeks ago (family not talking to her)... well DH rang her hubby today to check out when we can get together (they were always hassling us and paying out on us for not contacting them) ... and they said this ""we
have basically blocked out all social engagements until the end of the year." OMG!!! she has a heap of my stuff that l want back - and she never even said thank you for the car seat we got for them!!! They suck!
On other matters... my little monster slept in his portacot today for his daysleeps... they weren't as long as they are usually - but still 40-60 minutes so can't complain too loudly!!! Thanks for all the tips... tomorrow l will move the cot to a different room (it was in his room right beside the regular cot today)... so he gets familiar with sleeping in a different environment without too much trouble...
Oh the reason why my little man is a little monster today is because l can no longer leave him for even a second... my little crawler has decided he wants to climb... on everything!!! He has had three spills today... nothing major... one might leave a bruise... but gee!!!
Oh Lauren -- l haven't been going to the loo in private ever since Coen worked out how to follow me... that is his favourite thing at the moment... chasing me...
Coen is afraid of the vacuum cleaner... shows how much l have used it in the past doesn't it... he got hysterical when l turned it on and ran (fast crawl) over to me and started climbing my leg... he's fine to climb all over it when it is not on... or for it to be on when he is in my arms though
Okay just blabbering here.
eli loves the vac turned on, he loves it more when i turn it off and pull out the container to empty it.
i love the christmas smileys. talking of christmas i did my last of the shopping, the stocking stuffers. the kids have started on painting the paper so as it dries i wrap and we are making the tags too. its all looking very christmasy in my house.
anyone used any websites to buy PUL? not the gastly bright colours that look cheap and nasty..ill pay more for better quality. anyone know any?
OK I'll ask the dumb question...What's PUL????
Lauren PUL is Polyurethane Laminate. It is pretty much just laminated fabric and is used in heaps if stuff. It is also used in cloth nappies.
DP is very very happy. Since he got home all we have heard out of Cassidy is "dadadadadadadadadadadadadadadadad......"

i have another loyal mummas boy here.
eli says "mum mum" and its the only word he ever says..
so i win the bet. dont know if you remember but dd and i had a bet going on his first word. my other boy said mum first, one dd said 'dad' the other said 'eat'...
Kaelan won't say dad.. only mum (and bub).
I buy my PUL from nappiescovered.com.au
After buying a few different types, I've decided that I like the cotton PUL the most. It feels more durable and is easier to sew with.

thanks penny, im on there now.
i was getting the cotton too. hows the cut size?
For the nappies I've been making (similiar size to GK)... the cuts have been fine. A couple of times I 've got the outer edge of the material which has all the multiple little holes in it... but when that's the case, I use that section for the elastic flap at the back of the nappy (I make pocket nappies only).
You probably want your longest side to be 55cms... anything under that would probably be a bit small.
Are you going to start making some nappies?
penny yep:yes:
we said we'd do a week of no sposies then go full time...but everything im using at night is leaking.
worked out what was wrong with eli. the explosive nappy last night was repeated quite a few times today. dp got the one last night and two before work. i wondered why i woke up to my usual fresh bread and milk but there was also baby foodANDa big bag of huggies!
i need to get my hands on something that will last over night so he will stop reaching for the huggies. (dp dresses him for bed and gets him up in the morning)

I've sorted out messenger (finally) - thanks to a download suggested by Mon.
If anyone wants to add me I'm myrtlepurpleturtle @ hotmail.com. I'm not entirely sure why I'm indulging in more time wasting on the computer..
We had a lovely swimming morning again this week - I think Eloise liked it a bit better this time. It's a great little pool - seems to have no chlorine in it so we just get dried and dressed and E has her usual bath at the end of the day. I stole your idea Kay of using an itti bitti as a swim nappy (or was that you tan?)..anyway, it worked really well.
We finally got 'mumumumum' a few days ago after dadadad all the time. Hoorah!
The 'tail' thing made me think of a friend whos mum called his penis a 'tail' when he was a little boy. Weird...Anyway what are you going to/do you call your little ones 'bits and pieces' - are you using proper names  I hadn't thought about it til now!
Love that nappy Juz - Cassi looks very cute in it.
Sandy - to your friends - how rude! You're right - they suck.

Awww..all these good babies who said mum before dad!
Kay - BBBs or Sandmans with a decent cover have contained pooplosions here and they easily last all night
hannah- yes i use ittibittis as a swim nappy.
and i have BBB, have two of them got them when he was only a few weeks old ooow i had to fold them over and all! but they leak over night in his capris. during the day they are fine but he's wet to his neck in the morning..ill try them in the thing tans sending me. ive heard lots about the KK so im looking out for one.. have you seen their website? its a blast! fun funky colours, funny wording- i love it! just the name alone is enough to draw people in to look!
so what do you use over the BBB
Ohhhh i was going to ask about swim nappies and what everyone uses. Thanks for the idea about the itti guys. We are going to Hamilton Island in 12 days and i guess i should be thinking about these things. As well as sun protection for Cassidy

Yeah Juz, just take the inserts out of an itti for swimming. Works just fine.
Kay - I tried a wool soaker but I really don't like them so I'm now sticking with an ordinary PUL cover (a wonderwrap or a blueberry) or a fleece cover. Mind you I've even made a bumgenius last all night by stuffing it! Maybe a pocket nappy with some extra stuffing would suit Eli?
I tried to buy a KK, but she's not selling any more for a while now.

If he is still wetting try a booster in between the nappy and the cover( so outside the nappy) AND make sure he's boosted more in the front than back? HTH:thumbsup:
Ok girls i need some help.
My Dad, yes i arrived in the big smoke (more on that later) well he chose to view the web as "full view" from the view menu. NOW i can't change it back...mmm very annoying.
Anyone know how to?...please.
Good evening ladies.
Thank you for the advice on the headers and footers. You're legends!!
Does anyone know anything about webpage design?
ziggy29, I'm glad that Lily is okay. They are so fast it's scary.
Youngmummy, welcome to the thread. I have identical twins Ben and Matthew born December 21 at 32 weeks. Due in Feb though so have stuck around. I also have Jake who is 4 and a half. PND is not a nice thing to be suffering with and it's great that you have a good partner to support you.
my_lot, glad to hear that Eli is better. Scary though. I hate when they are sick. Was Eli prem? I can't remember? How is he now?
harleyq, Your friends do suck. How rude!! :smiliedance: to Coen for sleeping in the portacot.
As for me well, I've had a grumpy Matthew. I think the top two teeth are coming fast and at the same time:eek: I've given him some Nurofen. Poor little thing, he was so tired today. I only wish I had more hands.
Oh I woke up on Tuesday morning to a black house(the kids sleep with dimmers on) thinking oh we've had a black out. So Ben and Matthew are screaming, so I've woken DH and he's gone to check the fuse, it keeps tripping. Called the electrician and it was the sensor light having a fault in it. So he's coming back on Friday to rewire and put in a new sensor light. Man when it rains it pours.
Speak to you all soon.

WELCOME BACK TEGAN
Jack slept thru!!!! YAY for ME!!!! :D We did the dreamfeed last night and it worked. I did hear him wake around 2 but he had a cry and then a chat and went back to sleep til 6.20. I never had to get up tp him. Bliss!! I'll keep up with the late feed for another week then try him off it. It's amazing how my mood has changed with just getting a bit more sleep. My back even feels a bit better
I have a friend coming for lunch today and for once I'm making lunch for her...it's to make up for forgetting her B'day this year
DH is still really sick - he has a throat infection. I've been nagging him to take a sick day but he won't...he's too responsible sometimes
Better get going....have to go to the bakery for dessert :chef:
Hi girls
Just popped in to say a quick hello.
Have to take DP to the airport in 2 hours:crying:
My sister has offered to help me as she has 2 weeks off so she will help me pack, i have three weeks to pack the house and then me and the kids leave on the 20th of nov.
I was going to leave earlier but want to catch up with the brissy hub girls first.
I've got butterflys in my tummy BIG time about saying goodbye.
I will catch up later when i get back.
Good Luck Leashie...I understand how you feel :hugs: Many a tear was shed when DH left for China and that was only a week.

Liam had his first haircut yesterday. Just a little bit off to stop it itching around his ears. Took some pics on my phone... will post them later.
How windy is it in Melbourne today??? I was hanging up washing on my clothes-horse outside and the whole thing blew over... while I was holding it! Collapsed on my hand and gouged out a chunk of skin. Ouch.
L is awake. Curse these short sleeps.
Later.

Mon - yes, it's so windy outside I need to hang out some washing too.....waiting for Liam to go to sleep. He fights sleep until the death the little monster.....not good for me when I have a cold and feel like ****
Lauren - yay! Great news that Jack slept through. The dream feed worked for us too.......we don't do it anymore and some nights (like last night) Liam wakes for a feed but if he gets enough solids then a bottle before bed the night before he will usually sleep through. Wakes at 6-6:30am most mornings
Shajake - we recently had the whole house rewired because of similar issues.
Welcome back Tegan. If you get into Uni will you go part time or full time?
Well........I'm :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: Liam is finally asleep. He fights sleep so badly at the moment.....will stand up in his cot.....do whatever he can but lay down for sleep :banghead: oh and his new thing is the try and stand up on the change table
Hoping I feel better for tomorrow.......better go outside and shut this gate that keeps banging in the wind
Tegan - so good to hear from you!
Coen eats about 3 cubes of vegies, plus two tablespoons of farex at each meal, l made up two serves (6 cubes + 4 tblsp farex) one for lunch one for dinner, he didn't eat much of it for lunch, but scoffed both for dinner, plus the custard with a whole banana in it!!!
Try not to stress about it too much Jo, its not like our bubs are featherweights... they are definitely not starving!!!
I hope your cold eases up and your feeling better by tomorrow!
Guess what??? I took Coen to Acqua Play today... its kinda like swimming lessons for young babies - except you don't have to book - you just show up, pay your $6.10 and spend some time with a group of mums/dads with bubs and an instructor...
It was fantastic!!! If anybody wants to join me ever its on Mondays & Thursday in Brunswick - l love that you can just show up!
Coen loved the water... and it wasn't nearly as scary as l thought it would be -- not scary at all infact - loads of fun! Mum came with me so she was able to help out when it was time to get Coen out and washed etc. (Thanks everyone for your tips!)
2nd day with the portacot -- all of our sleeps have gone really well - his sleeps are a bit shorter - but that's okay... today he is in our room...
Anybody else got 8 month stats for me? Getting about ready to send out the spreadsheet.
Looking for weight, length & head circumference - anybody that contributes gets to see how there bub compares to the other bubs!
Have a great weekend everyone!! We're off to Rosebud tomorrow!

Hi all
Haven't been on in a few days been busy with work and other things. Its good to finally have a break.
I haven't caught up with all the posts so will have to go back and read them all.
Been trying to do a bit of christmas shopping lately. Haven't got very far got my sil's present and mums and some of Lochlain's but thats about it. Will have to get stuck into it.
Looking for a new christmas tree as well. Our one has had it so time for a new one.
So how's everyones bubs. Lochlain is getting up on all fours every now and then. He barely sits anymore is always putting himself on his tummy so maybe won't be too long before we get some movement. He also tries to climb up on everything mite be standing soon as well. Still no teeth though. He's been real chatty lately as well does not stop.
Well anyway better get going
Sandy - K's eight months stats
Weight - 9.2kgs
Length - 70cm
Head Cicumference - 44cms.
Well, I heard some good news today.... one of the girls in my mothers group has just found out that she is nearly six months pregnant... due on Feb 15th. What makes this so special (if not a complete shock) is that it took them 5 years to concieve their first bub (who is a day younger than K) and even then they had to use IVF. This time they have fallen pregnant naturally... and obviously weren't expecting this !! I'm so excited for them :)
As for me... well, if Kaelan keeps acting the way he has been the past few days... he may very well find himself growing up as an only child !!! He's been driving me completely batty !!

Good work Jack. We are weaning the dream feed. Here are the guidlines i have been following - 30 mis earlier every 5 nights. once you are at one hour after bed time then decrease size of feed by 20ml or 2 mins of breast feed each night. if they start to wake again take it back a step and then continue.
sounds really tedious i know but anytime i try to rush lily off her dream feed she starts waking up again. we are finally at feed one hour after bed but she is still having both boobs or a 220ml bottle. decreasing the size is the next trick. she went from 8pm till 7am today without stirring!!:smiliedance:

I'm all packed and ready to leave bright and early for the Baby Expo tomorrow. Haven't been to one before so I'm looking forward to it. I don't have any money to spend though, but that's probably a good thing.
I feel like I always take far to much stuff when we go out. But the day I decide to pack light is the day when I'm going to need a full change of clothes for Liam, multiple nappies, extra wipes, sun hat, sun screen, two meals instead of one... the list goes on.
Night all. Hope everyone has fun dreaming of secret santa gifts to give. :xmas:

I've been nappy shopping.
You don't have to get the 8 month check i just do it myself either at the doctor or at the local chemist.
Well DP is gone wont see him for 5 weeks.
It was a sad goodbye DS was trying to get on the plane with him was sad but funny watching him argue with the flight staff, he chased DP down the termanal.
I had both the kids in bed at 8pm (which is a first) so its a good start.

Leashie- :hugs: It must have been hard saying goodbye to DF, I can't believe you are leaving so soon, i really hope we can stay in touch, will miss you and your advice!!! :crying: really was hoping Marrissa and Lillyana would be buddies...oh well
Jo- I will be doing study full time - CRAZY i know, but then again, the sooner i get this done, the faster i can be earning decent money and providing a better life for my daughter. If i was with a partner, i'd probably consider doing it part time, but that would take me 8 years! I have already completed a year of education for secondary so i will be able to take credits for that.
I know what you mean about Liam and the change table, lillyana's new thing is to roll onto her tummy when im changing her- pretty hard to put a nappy on from the back!
Big Thanks to KAY and TANYA for organising the secret santa babies, Im so excited about my little baby, can't wait to find something you and mummy will really like.

Length- 70.5

Well I'm back from the expo. Was a lovely day catching up with people. The expo didn't quite have as many freebies as I expected, or I didn't look in the right places. Oh well.
Juz - Sorry we didn't manage to meet up with you there. Numerous phone calls and text messages and it still didn't work out. Never mind. Looking forward to seeing you for the next meet. Hope you and Cassi can make it.
The train was quite crowded on the way home. I had trouble getting the pram off the train as it was quite a big step down. Not one single person offered to help, which I thought was a bit unusual. Usually I find people to be very considerate. I'm sure if I had have asked someone would have helped.
Welcome aboard Chantelle... of course you are welcome to join in! The more the merrier.
Am at MIL's house atm. DH is meeting us here when he finishes work. Hope we can have dinner here... there's nothing to eat at my house!
chantelle-

Hi Chantelle welcome to the thread.
My names Amanda and mum to Lochlain who was born on the 9th Feb.
Wat is your bubs name and wat date was he/she born on.
Well today i have been shopping, shopping and more shopping not that i brought much. Went to the christmas cave. Could have spent a fortune in there but will have to wait till i get paid. Did buy Lochlain a christmas stocking that said baby's first christmas on it though.
Found a tree that i like so will probably go down on Sunday and put it on layby.

That bracelet on his wrist looks like it's getting tight. Does it clip open, or will it need to be cut off? Doesn't look like it will slide off now.
I've never been able to wear bracelets as my wrists are too skinny. They always hang down on my hand near my thumb. Or they just slide right off. Maybe I should get a baby one??!
We're having take-away here for dinner. Score!
I just made a NAPPY!

it isnt tight so must have just been the way his hand was in the photo
it sits with room when its on his wrist but when it slides up on his chubby part it looks too small...but it does adjust~ its a size newborn to 2yrs.

Make a few, not enough to meet demand of course, and you'll soon have people climbing over each other and putting their names on lists to buy them!
How did Eli like his first day??

How did the expo go and did everyone enjoy themselves?
Well my electrician didn't show today. I called him at 11.30 and he said he got caught up on another job and will come out on Wednesday. I hope he comes I need my sensor lights to work again.
So due to the fact that it was 11.30 I decided against coming to the expo because I thought by the time I would get there, you would have all left.

That's a shame Sharon...we stayed until 3.30. Didn't spend much time at the expo, we found a spot on the grass and layzed around.
Looks like I missed out on a good old biatch fight last night  You guys are nappy obsessed!!

Woah... you MCNers are hardcore!
If anyone is interested, I don't mind helping to sew an MCN for a non-sewer. As long as you supply all the materials and a pattern of some sort I can do one as a favour for friend. :) Have never made one before (official warning there) but would love to help feed this addiction.
You'll be hard-pressed to convert me though! Maybe if the world was free of squishy poos...

Oooh, me please...I would love that thanks! I'm actually looking at patterns and materials now and I'll be buying some this week. I'm going to buy a second hand machine too (as I've wanted to get one for ages predominantly to make clothes, but now also mcns). So i would love some tips and help for beginners :D :D
Morning girls!

Hi girls,
Took Liam to his first swim class this morning.........he was very apprehensive at first and HATED having his head under water but after a while was splashing around the place. The pool I go to has the absolute minimum amount of chlorine which is good. The instructor was excellent so we are going to sign up for regular classes.
For chocie lovers........tried the Betty Crocker 'Just Add Milk' double chocolate muffins and they are delicious and easy to make.....only glitch is the pack only makes 6 muffins.
Love the weather today in Melbourne......what's everyone up to this weekend?
I've just been to spot light looking for something to make my secret bubba and have NOOOO ideas at all. I can't even think of What to make:thumbsdown: really wanted to make it personal but might have to just buy something.
Not happy my head is sooo not working ATM
So to my secret bubba this is a sorry in advance for not being able to come up with something to make you.
ok rant over.
Kay how is the minkee coming along,
i'm off to look at sites to by some PUL
Last nights was dinner was paid for by my bosses. Had a lovely 3 course meal and then went out in the valley. ended up at a dodgey bar but one of the group new the manager so we got free open bar....
The reason i think was "happy october" ie there wasnt one.
My only male collegue announced that his wife is pregnant -35 Weeks pregnant!!!
Jack slept for 2 hours this arvo :yelclap: :D With one arm out of his wrap!!!
I was able to go to Spotlight and get all the stuff for DH's party and order all the balloons. Just have to order his cake on Monday.
My goal is to clean one room each day this week so it's not all last minute.
DH is still sick...his glands are really swollen. My MIL thinks he has the mumps. He's going back to the doc tomorrow.
Jack's now trying to open the fridge....he's started climbing up on things and getting up on his knees.
Hope everyone has a great night :)

I love the idea of a nappy swap but at the moment I couldn't even sew a simple line on a piece of material so you might be waiting quite a while for me. Could I hand sew one do you think?
Don't give yourself a hard time Alicia - I'm sure noone would expect you to make anything at the moment, you're way too busy.
Sounds like a good night Sharon - I'm seriously impressed that you can even stay up that late.
yay for Jack and his one-armed wrap!!
We had a good day shopping - got Miss E's chrimbo pressie in the Myer toy sale. It's a little Fisher Price lawn mower - didn't want to go too mad as we're away so we can't take anything with us anyway. I also got my secret santa 'things' ;) That's it really..have a good night all!

For some reason I thought your DH's party was the weekend he got back......glad you have more time to prepare for it than that! I hope he will get better soon......he needs some time off work to recover I think. Glad to hear Jack had a good sleep! Liam slept VERY well after his swimming lesson.....must have tired him out.
ziggy - fancy waiting that long to tell everyone his wife is pregnant!
Hannah - if you can sew a straight line your doing better than me
Not much to report on here.......Liam's asleep.........I've put a wash on, DH is on the Round the Bay in a Day bike ride (he got up at 4am to go on this thing) and I'm on bubhub.........I'm impressed some people have started their secret santa shopping. I have to go to the shops this week to get some b'day pressies so will have a look then I think
I bet there's heaps of :xmastree: stuff out!

It was. He's off to China again. It was meant to be on Wednesday but it's been pushed back. He leaves the day after his party now. Not sure which is worse though.
I'm glad Liam slept well for you. Jack's improving because of the crawling I think. He slept again for 2 hours today - I could get used to it

More bad luck with the car:thumbsdown: now the battery is flat. I'm so annoyed they told me everything was fine. Sometimes i thing the tamper with cars to get more money out of you. there was nothing wrong with the battery when i gave it to them.
Apart from that everything else is going to plan brendon starts work tomorrow and has already looked at 3 houses and applyed for 1 so just have to get this bloody car fixed now.
Anyway off to pack some more.

............. *Backs away slowly*......
DPs parents and oldest sister are ****ed at me.
I had a migraine yesterday and spent the majority of the day in bed sleeping. I couldn't see straight and was having terrible stomach pains to the point where i couldnt stand.
We were supposed to go to their place for a BBQ for DPs sisters birthday. As i was so unwell we decided not to go as i needed sleep, couldnt see and couldnt walk. And i would have had to have driven there. DP needed to stay here to look after Cassi while i was in bed.
Did they understand that he couldnt go cause i was sick? No. Did they crack the sh!ts because i was unwell? Yes. Do they think i forced DP to stay here? Yes. He stayed because i was sick.
They said to DP, "Just leave Juz and Cassi at home and come by yourself. Who cares if shes so unwell."
Excuse me, but i couldnt see properly, i couldnt walk how on earth was i supposed to look after myself and Cassidy?
Anyway, we ended up staying home and now i am the bad guy....
Vent over.
Juzzy - that sounds really unreasonable of them. next time let dp take cassi with him and you can stay home and sleep.
I talked to my sil about my nephews skull shape - she was really ok with it and will talk to her gp about it. i am really reassured - i think we have both grown up a lot since having kids.
I still have to finish doing our tax returns....... i am going to finish tonight if it is the last thing i do.....

Well i told him to take Cassidy and go. Forgetting that she is still partially BF. She could have had a bottle but DP doesnt like giving her bottles so she would have had to stay with me anyways.
As for tax returns. Dont get me started. Havent done mine yet. Has to be this week.
Hey everyone, can I join the thread???
G'day Chantelle - of course you can join!! Welcome
Liam slept VERY well after his swimming lesson.....must have tired him out Coen was the same after his swim Jo!!! So was l to be honest...
It looks like Coen might be following in Liam's footsteps - he gets really figety and grumpy whilst we're feeding him solids at the moment - its only been since Friday - but its a bl00dy nightmare! DH did the round the bay ride today too - his partner in crime (my cousins husband) - gave up in Sandringham (they rode from Sorrento) and my cousin picked him up... I was exhausted driving back from Rosebud - let alone riding!!!
Juzzy - your partners family are taking the **** and need to get over themselves... hope your migraine is totally gone now!!!
I talked to my sil about my nephews skull shape - she was really ok with it and will talk to her gp about it. i am really reassured - i think we have both grown up a lot since having kids.
Must have taken a load of your mind - that's great news!!
Coen is crawling, climbing, shouting, making fish faces... giving cuddles... wow the new things are just coming in leaps and bounds -- he is pretty full on at them moment.
Rosebud was great, the weather was fantastic - we took Coen for his first glimpse at the beach... he played in the water a bit... but we did it on the spur of the moment and forgot the cameras... and didn't end up having time to go back :-( but there will be plenty of other times...
I need to get Coen a decent sun hat - any suggestions?

Why does he not like to give her a bottle?
Why does he not like to give her a bottle?
Because his mum fully breastfed 5 kids. And he doesnt think its necessary even though it saved my sanity

Have just skimmed over the posts tonight. I've had a headache all yesterday and today, which isn't going away with paracetamol. Not a migraine though... I feel for all the migraine sufferers. My back, shoulders and neck have all been really stiff lately too and I've been all achy. And my head feels too heavy for my body... like one of those bobble dolls where the head bounces around.
Anyway, not sure if the headache is related to my body being tense, the weird Melbourne heat, or something else. I hate not feeling well. I'm trying to drink heaps more than usual so I can rule out dehydration.
I gave Liam an extra breastfeed today because of the heat and it was fine, so I don't think it has stuffed about my milk, which is good.
Might go and finish reading the Harry Potter Book. I've been reading it since it came out, what, three months ago??! About half a chapter a night. Should be finished any day now. I used to read a book like that in a day or two. How times have changed.
*Sparkles*

Hi girls,
Just wanted to say a few words...
Kay and I have called a truce and decided to put the past events behind us. I want to appologise for the negative things that I posted over the last few weeks, I guess it all got out of hand. Especially for the newer members who most likely had no idea what was going on.
This is supposed to be a place to have a chat and share the journey of our babies growing up. And as such, I have really missed you guys and missed posting here. I'd really like to come back and join the group again (if you will have me of course).
I promise not to cause a stir again, it's not really in my nature to be that way anyway.
I'd also like it if we could refrain from talking about my nappy business in here as that seems to be the main cause of everything.
Anyway, it sounds like the babies have really progressed since I was last here. Reece still has no teeth and isn't crawling (which probably isn't a bad thing lol).
Juz - I hear you about the tax return, I haven't done our's either or the businesses. I've just discovered that since we got the new computer I've lost alot of data, which basically means I have to re-enter all the figures going right back to June
I have 1 week to do it all and then do the BAS. The ATO will really crack it if it's late again. Looks like I am in for a busy week...
Yay Hels !! Good to have you back.
Well, I'm currently at work and its only after 4am... still 3 hours to go. Somebody please make the time go quick because I am bored sh!tless.
As I suspected, they haven't closed any beds here in ICU for the industrial action that Victorian Nurses are currently taking... so at least I'm not going to be threatened with losing four hours of my pay. That's nice to know :)
Unfortunately after I get home this morning, I'm not going to be able to go to bed because DF is going out for an interview... so I have to stay up to look after Kaelan. By the time DF goes and comes back again, I probably won't get to bed until after midday.... not sure how I'll cope with that as I'm ready to go to sleep now  As it is, I'll probably only get two hours sleep because DF still has to go work this afternoon. Shiftwork really sucks sometimes.
Oh well, this post killed a couple of minutes... so I guess I'd better get back to my job (otherwise I'll be killing the patients instead :D ).
Good Morning
How was everyone's weekend?
All is well here...we are slowly getting rid of the dreaded wrap. Jack's slept thru most nights with one arm out and is having long day sleeps too. Towards the end of the week I will take the other one out...fingers crossed. Were still dreamfeeding (Thank you Sharon for the info too) but the last few nights he hasn't been interested and fallen asleep. Not sure if I should try to stop it again...might wait until he's fully unwrapped.
DH doesn't have the mumps - he had a blood test on Sunday. Doctor thinks it's just an after effect from his throat infection....I hope so.
We have mini maestro's today and I have a bit of party stuff to organise
Leashie - How's the packing going.I have to start soon and I'm dreading it
Mon - Hope your feeling better today :D
Sandy - Jack's been fussy with his solids since Saturday. He blows raspberries when he's had enough which is usually only a mouthful. Not sure what's up?? He usually loves it too
Sharon - I'm glad it all worked out with your SIL
Hels - WB

Morning. I'm feeling much better today. It's awful feeling unwell on the weekend. DH and I wanted to get so much stuff done, but instead I laid low feeling hot and miserable.
Lauren, I've hijacked your post to make it easier to reply to people. Hello to everyone I haven't mentioned. Our group is so big these days it is hard to keep up!
All is well here...we are slowly getting rid of the dreaded wrap.
Hang in there! When he gets the idea of it, hopefully it will be easier for him to sleep when you are out and about.
Leashie - How's the packing going.I have to start soon and I'm dreading it
I've only had to move from a tiny place to a whole house, which was relatively easy. I don't envy you at all! Sending good packing vibes to you. *vvviiiibbbeeesss*
Sandy - Jack's been fussy with his solids since Saturday. He blows raspberries when he's had enough which is usually only a mouthful. Not sure what's up?? He usually loves it too
Liam has been doing that too. I've found that if I offer him a sip of water he will then be ready for more solids. It's like he needs a swig of liquid to help it all go down. Worth a try.
Sharon - I'm glad it all worked out with your SIL
Seconding this. Let us know what the specialist says. I hope it isn't too serious.
Hels - WB
Yo! Glad to hear you guys have talked things through. I thought I was going to have to send both of you to the naughty corner!
Penny - Sending some of these your way
Wait! Don't send any sleep vibes until midday! Sending you awake vibes for a while. This is the closest smiley that I could find for awake -->
