Oliver was VERY upset about having to put a nappy on for his nap. He wants to wear undies all the time.

What should I do for naps and nightime??

I can buy some 'pocket training pants' that I can boost for overnight.. but it will cost nearly $50 for 2...

What did others do for naps and overnight.

Trying to work out whether it's worth it.

How long does it take for them to be dry at night??

How much do pull-ups cost?

Do these last at night? Or would I need to get the 'DryNite' ones?

How much do they cost for a packet?

Thanks in advance.

How long till dry at night? Zara only took about 1 week after she day trained (however 8 months later she has fallen to wetting the bed again)
Pullups cost? Aldis have them for about $18 for 44 i think
Do they last at night? If they arent big wetters yep otherwise nope
I ended up making DD some pull up pants for bedtime as "special undies"

You don't happen to have a pattern for this lying around, do you??? ;)

Brooke had her 3rd night in undies last night. She is doing good. We started taking potty training seriously "cold turkey undie wearing" 4th Sep and we are in undies 24/7. We just carry with us a pull-up to the shops or the park now.

Goodluck! They say if they are waking dry for 2 weeks then they are ready to ditch the night nappy!

also "the day nappy"
I think it was the 1st week we started I just took a gamble and let her sleep in her undies and she woke up dry, haven't looked back since.

Goodluck again :)

My daughter had her 3rd night in undies at night time too!! She has been daytime toilet trained for about a year now and i decided its time to ditch the night time nappy...She is doing really good.

OJandMe I say just let them go without a nappy..Huggies pullups are about $14 for 15 but they do not last overnight. My daughter would do just one wee and be saturated through. Just start by leaving it off during the day time nap but get them into the routine of going to the toilet before nap and when they get up!!

GOOD LUCK!

Hi,
I bought some of the huggies nappy pant which are as absorbent as a nappy, but pull on like undies. I am a cloth mum too but I just didn't have the money to buy the pocket training pants strait away.
We call them special undies rather than nappies as we also had big dramas getting a night nappy on once tt was established. After two dry day sleeps I put him down with just undies and he has been dry through the day ever since. At night he is still wearing the 'special undies' but always wakes up dry, so once this packet is finished I wony buy anymore. I think it probably took a total of two weeks to be dry at night. zfrom what I have heard though, it can take much longer. I guess if it had I would have eventually gotten the pocket training pants. Good Luck, HTH!
