That's it...enough is enough! I've decided to give the CSIRO eating plan a go and I'm on my third day...and can I just say...it's brilliant!
I'm even eating breakfast, never really been a breakfast eater (unless it was a Macca's breakfast LOL!:o ), but even after only 2 full days on the (I'm not going to say diet) eating plan, I seem to already have more energy...thanks to the healthy breakfasts I think!
Anyway, I've found the 2 dinners that I've had lovely, it was quite warm the first day of my 'plan' so instead of having the casserole I made the salmon fillet...it was fan'bl**dy'tastic...just the right blend of flavours...and I didn't even realise I wasn't having potato or pasta!!!
After reading the book I was astounded that we only need 3 teaspoons of fats/oils to survive a day!!! Oops...used to use ALOT more than that in cooking alone!
I was so chuffed with the meal I prepared I took a photo...as you do!
I think it looked too good to eat...

well done!

We have been on this now for 5 weeks (with a couple of lapses.......well maybe more than a couple) and it is fantastic.

The salmon and the beef fillet with caramelised onions and field mushrooms have been our faves so far.

Last nigth we had Thai beef salad and that was eally good as a hot day meal too.

Keep up the good work!

My brother is an Army medic and green beret, and a fitness nut. He's putting myself and DP onto a rigorous training and eating regime complete with supplements, he's been on it for the past 2 months and has put on 15kg of muscle, and stripped fat. He swears by it and says DP and I will lose kgs easily if we stick to it. It's not low carb or anything, just balanced. It sounds similar to the CSIRO plan, but a little stricter...

Good luck with the CSIRO plan, carlyb! I hope we both reach our goals! :)

I'm having the beef fillet tonight.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!:D
I've just come back from taking Jesse to the Maroondah festival...there were Spanish donuts, french crepes, dutch pancakes...even though I was tempted I didn't give in...yay for me!;)
