anyways, i hope their are some hub bub mums up there as it never realized how nice is was to go out with other mums, and with the 3 boys i havent done that before, and it was so nice.

routine.... i love my routine.

i'll share
i wake up, never ready to wake up and swear someone has tricked me!

i think think positive affirmations, I MUST SURVIVE THE DAY, I MUST SURVIVE THE DAY!! i then tackle the kids head on, from 8am-6pm gets gobbled up in life, and then i start doing tea holding kai (7mth) on my hip, jamie (nearly 2) rapped around me leg and fighting mason (3 1/2) off the stove... intill dinner is done to a eatable standard.
then back to bed, ahh,
then i reward myself with more positive affirmations, I SURVIVED, BRING IT ON, I SURVIVED BRING IT ON.

LMAO... note, not all days are like this, but a allot are

Hi. I dont live in Kalgoorlie anymore but I still occasionally visit as Bugs dad lives up there (usually once a year, more as she gets older).

Welcome to Bubhub. I hope to get to know you better around the boards. Im not sure if the Kal girls still come online or not, but I know that most of them attend a playgroup up there together each week. Maybe playgroup wa website might have some info for you in regards to that.

well my routines are a bit more planned out then yours so here they are

There are three parts to the Before Bed Routine:

Clean up the house before you go to bed. (20 minutes - tops)
Living room: Pick up and put away things, magazines, dishes, clothes, shoes. Kitchen: Clean it up, shine sink, lay out clean dishcloths, and run the dishwasher. Dining room/entrance: Clear the hot spots.
Review your check list to make sure you have not forgotten anything.Think about tomorrow before you go to bed.

Check your calendar and/or planner for appointments. Start a PODA (Parade of Daily Adventures) or "To Do" list for tomorrow. think about: What can I do tonight that will make tomorrow morning easier? (make lunches?) Gather up items that you do not want to forget and place them in a spot by the door. Make sure you can see them before you walk out. Make sure children have their things gathered up and put away. Start Breakfast: Set table and plan what you are cooking (just make a mental note). if you plan to use the crock pot, then get some of those things ready so all you have to do is throw it together.
Lay out your clothes for tomorrow. It is a simple thing that saves lots of time by being decisive. If something needs to be ironed, or has a spot on it, you can deal with it in a calm manner or choose to wear something else. Take it to the cleaners on your errand day, launder it, or fix that missing button according to your schedule - no pressure. All the stress has been relieved.Focus on yourself before going to bed. Cool down time:

Get yourself ready for bed. Brush your teeth, clean your face, comb your hair. Take vitamins and other meds. Bath time! Bubbles mmmmmm...Put on jammies, or sexy night gown, or... nothing. LOL!
You are now ready for bed. I am not saying that you have to go to bed, but you can, because you are ready to get between those sheets.Reflect on today's accomplishments:

Work on your journal, TaDa list (accomplishments), and/or Gratitude Journal. Read for fun. Read to each other. Listen to music. It doesn't matter what kind - just relax, and it has to be something you enjoy, or you won't do it. Prayer and/or Meditation.
Snuggle in for the night and lights out. Go to bed at a decent time. Preferably at the same time daily!
Fall asleep with a smile on your face and in your heart!
The morning routine is broken down into four parts:

Rise and Shine
Make your bed as soon as you get out of it (unless your DH is still there). Go into the bathroom. Shower and clean the bathroom while you are there. Fix your hair and face. Swish the toilet and leave the room never to return till later. It is clean and you can forget about it for now.
Leave your bedroom with a load of laundry in hand and go straight to the washer.Kitchen

If you did your Before Bed Routine, the kitchen is clean and all you need to do is empty the dishwasher. Make coffee and start breakfast. feed the critters.
Feed the family (including yourself).Think About Your Day

Check your calendar. Make your list of what you are going to do today (PODA or To Do List) Thaw something for dinner. Checkbook (bring down your balance). Reboot the laundry (put in dryer).
Hit the hotspots. If you did your Before Bed Routine there will not be any.Now Think About Yourself

Take your vitamins and medications. Sit down. Eat breakfast (if you haven't already).
Morning Meditation
Now reward yourself with some computer time. Check your e-mail.

Hi ThreeofCups!

My name's Lisa. I've lived in Kalgoorlie for 2 years now and once before for 6 months.

I only have 1 bub, Davey, he's 18 months. We live in South Kal with my DP of 6 years.

Goodness you're organised! I think I need to take a leaf out of your book.

Being a SAHM with only one bub I'm pretty flexible and would love to catch up with you some time. We could catch up for a coffee or a playdate if you like? Unfortunately my house is very small and not really conducive to having people over so maybe we could meet at a park or coffee place? Just let me know what suits you best.

I'll PM you my details.

Regards,

Lisa

Hi although i don't live in Kalgoorlie i am in the same position. I live in the Manningham area in Victoria and would like to meet other mums. I have a 21 month old and 5 month old.

Anyone in Manningham interested in forming an afternoon mums and bubs group?

Hi KNDS! If you put a post in the Victoria board (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=33) you might have a bit more luck? If you're just new and having trouble navigating just drop me a line. Goodluck:thumbsup:
