applique???

what is the best way to sew an applique(SP?) onto a second outter layer of PUL... i've seen some in fotos that are sewn on really professionally and would like to know how to do this.

Applique takes a bit of practice to get right. I'd suggest going to your local sewing supply shop and seeing if they have some lessons. Appliquing on PUL or fleece is tricker than a plain woven fabric. You'll need stabilisers etc to make it easier for you. And different stabilisers depending on the fabric. I haven't done any applique on PUL yet, so I can't give you any hints.

The photos you've seen maybe machine embroidered appliques, for which you need an embroidery machine. I'd love one, but it's not in the budget for this year.
