Hey everyone I am 4moths and 3 days pregnant, and I am so blessed to still be carrying my baby. Well I have had so much stress, since I got pregnant. My boyfriend and I had it out until he finally calmed down and is now excited about the baby. My father figure died a month ago, I can’t find a job, I have outstanding health issues, such as (herpes and a heart condition) and I still have this active, healthy baby growing inside me. That kicks, and pokes me everyday. I feel so blessed, but lately I have just been worrying and so scared that if I argue with my boyfriend or anyone that it puts me at risk of losing my baby. I am so attached to my baby and couldn’t live if anything like that happened!! Please help me feel better, is this worrying about my baby’s well-being normal?
I try to stay as stress free as possible, but some do come up, and I am also so emotional at times.
Im sorry to hear that you have had some down times lately but I dont think that stress is going to cause any real harm to your baby, many people go through stressful events (such as deaths, accidents etc) and still go on to birth happy healthy babies.
:hugs:
I try to relax at night with some relaxation music playing ('Gossimer Dreaming' by Dusk (the candle shop) is my favourite) and some relaxation candles. I often go to sleep to them (make sure someone is up to blow out the candles when you go to sleep!)
When you feel down or stressed try to have something that you do to take your mind off it such as think of all the good things in your life and concentrate on them or take some time out from the situation. I have also worried about fighting with my DH during the pregnancy but if it gets too heated just walk away, count to 10 and think of nice things...
I know its not always that easy but worth a try!

It is normal to worry about the wellbeing of your baby during pg. You would be surprised how resilient(sp) babies are. It does sound like you have been through quite a lot of late, which would be difficult for anyone to manage nether alone being pg too. Maybe seeing a counsellor might help express your feelings and help relieve some of that stress. Also doing some relaxation techniques as nicole said would be of help. I hope things start getting better for you soon, take care hun! :hugs:

Isn't it wonderful feeling that little life moving around inside of you? I love it when they start moving.
Try not to worry about it too much it is hard enough being pregnant and trying to do all the right things for you and your baby. If you can get some gentle excercise and try talking to friends or family about how you feel it will do you the world of good. Ask your partner to be gentle with you during this time as you are fragile and arguing wont make you feel any better.
I am pregnant with my third bub and there are times where i think my blood pressure is at a peak (especially these last school holidays)
Take care :hugs:

I had been emotionally drain the last few months. I'm worried that all this stress might have some negative effect on my child. What are some good ways of eas'n the stress other than go to see a shrink? Any advice would be great.
