I don't know about Sunsuper but with super in general you can't withdraw preserved super until you are 65 I think. You can apply if you are in severe financial hardship but the guidelines are very strict.Afterall super is there for a reason I guess. You can roll it over to a new fund when you start work again :)

I have a very old SunSuper account. Every quarter I get a statement where they take $50 odd for admin fees then rebate me $50. It will cost me more to roll it over than it's worth.

You can't withdraw Super until retirement age or if you can prove financial hardship.:(
