can you get an evap line before 10 minutes?

I tested 2 days ago and got the faintest faintest line, I saw it before 10 minutes and it is still there (but really faint, don't know if DH will be able to see it)

I tested again this morning FMU and another really faint line, this time before 5 minutes.

I'm not getting my hopes up, because they really are very faint.

But it is 13 days after EWCM and BD. And last time with DS I got a very faint line at 14DPO

How confusing for you BTBM.

I would recommend just testing, giving it the 10 minute time span and if you can't see it in plain sight in that time throw it in the bin and don't look at it again. You will go crazy otherwise!

Men are so pessimistic when it comes to pg tests! My husband would strain his eyes at the most obvious of BFPs and say cautiously "Oh, I don't know. You should use a different brand."

the bottom test seems to have the line further to the left, what does that mean?

Sorry, I can't see anything at all.
I used that brand of test and fortel and the fortel showed BFP when that one showed BFN on day 27. Wait another day and test again.

I cant' see anything on the first test, but the 2nd one i do see like a pink hazy area right on the far left (I hadn't read your post saying that's the one you see something in!) I got a really faint line on 15dpo - thought it was BFN at first, but eventually a line showed itself very faintly. DH could see it! (I thought he would scoff and tell me I was imagining things, but he didn't!) Good luck!

ok, after saving the pic and zooming.....(thats the only way i know how to zoom:o )

on the second test i am sure i can see a second line (its darker towards the edge of the test ?)

I can really see it too... but what does it mean if the line is further on the side?

Well the only thing that will bring that line up in the pink colour is the presence of Hcg in the urine.
to be honest I couldn't see it, but you have the test in front of you, it always looks different in a photo. I would test again in a few days (although I know you'll probably test every day, like I did!!!)

i can't see anything on the top one but DH & i can see a faint line on the second one, its very faint but there. Good Luck :fingerscrossed: i had some faint ones before a darker one ill add some pics.

if it was with in 10 min i would say its a :bfp: rather then an evap line.

with this bub i got a REALLY faint line and it didnt get any darker. even now if i go look at it (i still have it:o ), it is as light as light could be.

i guess you SHOULD re test in a few days.............but stuff that test again first thing tomorrow and every day till it gets darker :)

I've done 2 more tests since those 2 and they had the same thing. Not any darker, so I'm either testing way too early or they are evaporation lines

I don't think you'd be unlucky enough to have three tests with evap lines....congrats! If you're unsure, get a blood test done, might put your mind at ease.

I'm still not getting my hopes up. I used all the tests I had and just ordered some more on thursday, so I'll try again when they arrive, could've been a dodgy batch.

It should get darker if it is positive shouldn't it? They've all been the same:confused:
