isabelle or isabel

i have decided that dd will be isabelle/isabel, chloe, stephanie or olivia still deciding but if she is isabelle i was just wondering which spelling you all prefer thanx

I always liked the scandinavian version of Isobel...and Isabelle...

Hi 2 girls + 1 boy, the spelling is best when it " feels " right for you when you see it written with the other names you intend on using eg: including surname and any middle names. Sure we will offer what we like but ultimately the decision will be yours on behalf of your daughter as it will be herself that will be spelling it for the rest of her life and only you have the " connection " to make the choice. Still, in answer to your question... IMO... I personally like the spelling of isabelle. Another thing you could look into for your answer is Numerology - the power of the numbers and letters in her name. All the best with your decision making for your daughter-to-be.

When deciding how to spell names, we went with the most common way. Not to be common, but so our poor child wouldn't be correcting how people spell or pronounce their name their whole life... :rolleyes:
I liked Ellah... but we went with Ella :) . I also liked Malakai.... we decided it was too tricky & went with Connor, though I liked Konner... :D


Isobel looks nice, but I would go with Isabelle :) Thats just me though...
