my big belly........

I have posted a similar topic to this one before, but now i have more facts....... I am just over 6 weeks pregnant but look like i am around 4 months (especially in the afternoon!) I have recently found out that I have 2 large cysts on my ovaries (the biggest one measuring at 6.5 x 5.5). Do you think that the cysts are causing my 'big belly'? It couldnt possibly be the baby yet!!! Has anyone else had an enlarged stomach with cysts?????

Not sure if while you are pregnant but I had a 12 cm cyst on my ovary when I was 16 and I was a size 6. I never could tell that I had one only for the pain...

But being a little person normally I also looked further along then what I was when I was first pregnant - I had a stomach at 6 weeks :eek: but everything has slowed right down and now for the last 2 months have only grown slightly.

Hi i cant answer your question for sure but i have had a cysts about 5.5cm on my ovary since falling pregnant and it didnt make any differance in my size. The fact that you said that you look bigger in the afternoon sort of indercates bloating to me. I suffered a lot of blaoting in the early months as most of us do, one of the joys of prenancy and usually looked and felt bigger in the afternoon and evening. Im sure that if it had someting to do with the cysts your DR would have said so. I only have 11 days to go and have had no problems with my cysts and they havent grown any since being pregnant so unless your DR says otherwise i wouldnt worry about them too much. Hi I hope I can help I also looked VERY preg very early and I saw 1 of the mum's from my sons class last year who told me I did'nt look much bigger thatn when she last saw me before xmas. I told her that I definately have grown as there's only 8 weeks to go

Hi, I don't know about the cysts, but it could be bloating. When I was in the early stages I got SOO bloated and after eating a meal I would look like I was 4 months too. At the time i thought I was getting a belly really early but then I'd wake up in the morning with a flat tummy again and I'd worry the baby had gone!! so if you're finding your belly is much bigger later in the day this could be the reason.
