Hi all,
When my 3 month old son Ben just won't settle, my saviour has been talking books! I am addicted! Not only does the entertainment give me more stamina for rocking Ben to sleep, but it soothes him as well! (And you don't feel as lonely with an extra voice in the house!:o )
What helps you through your day? :)

I have been doing a lot of travel between Sydney & Albury lately and those books are fantastic for listening to while driving - it makes the miles fly by and it usually puts the girls to sleep listening to the same voice reading.
One of my major daily coping devices is loud daggy 70's rock and pop!!

I usually have the ABC radio on throughout the day... interesting talk back, and easy to listen to music - none of that pop or rap cr@p ;)

My Hip Bubby sling. Couldn't live without it. DS settles immediately and sleeps belly to belly for ages. And I still have both hands free to put washing on the line, eat, prepare meals, vacuum...:yelclap:

Jolly Baby Bear Security Blanket. DD hugs it and goes straight to sleep. Also Reading Nursery rhymes helps to sooth her

My boobs!
I always have in the back of my mind that no matter how much of a little bugger the dude is being, I have the magic solution to all his problems... for now lol!
