2nd round of clomid 50mg

I am on day 19 of my second round of clomid. I just wanted to ask what sort of monitoring anyone elses Dr does. In my first month I had a blood test on day 23 to see if I ovulated. Dr rang me with the good news and said it had worked and I had ovulated. He then said to give him a call if I was starting a 2nd round of clomid. I called him and left a message with the receptionist and have heard nothing since then. Should I be having a blood test done each month or some other sort of monitoring. I don't want to waste the 6 months I have.

yes, call dr again! I only say this because ur heart will rest easier when you know that you have O'ed.......GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING!

Hi,

I am on my first round of clomid, i have had blood tests, days 14,18 and 21. I then have a pregnancy blood test cd 30 (unless af turns up). I also had an ultra sound days 12 & 14 to check size of eggie.

however, i have a friend on clomid who has a bt cd21 and thats it, so i guess it depends on your gyn/obs/fs

I didnt have any blood tests last month, maybe because I fell pregnant and m/c the month before (not on clomid) so the gyno knew that I could O and fall preggers it was just that I O'ed really late in the cycle.

I called him after my 1st round (25mg) to let him know OPK picked up a surge, however due to being sick and fever I didnt conceive.

Im on my 2nd round now (25mg) and the gyno said to go in and see him if I dont fall preggers.

I am in the 2ww and hoping for :bfp: !
