Hey Delanie

Im with ya for my first i had a normal delievry and my second I had a c-section and now I preg with my third and really want to have it natural but am scared cause Ive been told that sometimes ur wound can tear if u get to big! I dont know how true that is but for us to deliever we would have to go full term!

What was the reason for ur c-section? Mine was placenta previa so I can deliever normally if my placenta allows me!

Hi there, these links have been posted a few times recently, but have a look anyway. The chances of a VBAC are great, depending on the reason for your original C sec. And the chances of your scar rupturing are generally very low. If you had had your leg stitched you wouldn't worry about it popping open would you? LOL!

Heres the links anyway..

Hi ladies, I had a natural vbac for my fourth baby who was born 10lb 4oz and I had not torn nor was I cut. ( feel free to read my story for inspiration:) ). WRT scars tearing open because of excess weight... sheepishly I admit to putting on alot of weight - my final weigh in was 119kg eight days before I gave birth:o , no scars had ruptured or changed shape or torn or did anything!. Good luck with your research... it will only serve to empower you:cool:
