Ovulation Question

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. Is it possible you don't ovulate every month, even if you get your periods?

I've been taking my temperature every day, and it has dropped the last few days, which i believe it does before you ovulate, at which point it increases, but my CM is still quite watery and slippery. I am a bit moody and feel a bit like i do when my periods are due, which i read can mean you are about to ovulate, but it just doesn't seem to be happening.

I am expecting to see the Egg white mucus, but still just watery. Does it sound like it is just about to happen, or could i even be ovulating but not have the mucus? i'm starting to get some stingy pains which my gyno said could be what happens when i ovulate - but low temp and no CM? or should i just be patient because maybe it is just later than normal this month?

i think it sounds like you are gearing up to O. I always get EWCM but some ladies only get water cm. Low temps are also a good sign.

I have also heard that if you don't o you still get your periods, sometimes a bit early.

Yeah, i think the big O is just around the corner, it is just that this is the first cycle in the 17months i've been trying that i've actually been looking for the signs and working to a schedule.

Ok, i think i have determined that i did in fact ovulate yesterday, because my temp has gone up today, and yesterday i had sharp pains.

I tried BD last night but poor hubby was so exhausted he couldn't "finish". Sorry TMI.

This means we BD'd on day 10, day 12 and day 14 and i O'd on day 15. Does this mean we caught the fertile time?

Good luck kittykatz!! Sperm can last for a few days so you are definately still in with a chance! I would keep BD'ing just to cover all bases!!

OMG MUMMY TO MASON YOUR LITTLE ONE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE! Yes KittyKatz it is possible to have not ovulated and still got AF.
