sorry sweetheart I'm not going to be much of a help myself as i cant seem to lose weight from my bottom, scars or boobs, but there are a few diet drinks & pills that work from the chemists but different ones work for different people! When i stop breast feeding I'm going to see a Dr about a diet that will work for me as i think they take your blood or something personally from you! It has worked for 2 people that i know off, About 4 years ago i used to use slimfast and that could be brought from the supermarkets & priceline but i don't know if its still around and a lot of people say that didn't work for them! but it worked really well for me!:)

hey there,
i know how you feel :(
i put on 33kgs with dd and was so miserable with the way i looked....
basically i joined a gym (walking everyday is good too...)
i completely changed my eating habits (i'd talk to your doc on a safe way to do that :))
i ate small meals every 3 hours and did NOT eat after 7pm..
i lost 20kg in 3mths
ds i only put on 11kg (thank goodness)
he is 6mths old and by following the same regime, i am 2kg off my target..
it takes determination and routine to work for me!!
home this helps :) chin up
feel free to pm if any questions, more than happy to chat about it
big hug

you need to try an exercise that your body isnt used to, swimming is great for weight loss and toning plus its fun you dont have to do laps, just play around in the deep end. roller blading is also good, fun as well, or why not try some sort of martial art lose weight and be able to defend yourself.

Hi Kristy, I put on 22 kgs with DS and nothing was really working for me either. I started the Optislim shakes, one for breakfast and one for lunch and then 30 grams of meat for dinner and a big salad (or vegies). No carbs though! I also go to the gym 2-3 times a week. It's really hard at the start because you feel hungry all the time, but after a week, your stomach gets used to it and it's not so bad. I have also cheated quite a few times and snuck in a chocolate or two:D but the weight is coming off - 1 to 1.5 kgs a week if done properly (I've lost 5 kgs so far). My Mum has been doing a very similar thing through her doctor and she has lost 14 kgs. Hang in there, it will happen if you stick to it - it just takes A LOT of willpower. Good luck.
Hi there,

Hi,
This may sound a bit complex but it is the way the human body works and it is the secret that dieting industry doesn't tell you about. I divised this personal plan for myself after I had put on a massive 30kg with my first pregnancy. When I finally put in into practice, to my astonishment, I was losing fat steadily at the rate of about 30-50 grams of fat per day.
1. You need to work out how much you body actually needs and then divide that up into smaller planned meals so that you don't go hungry, then combine this with a little bit of exercise several times a day.
To find out how much your particular body needs you need to find out what your BMR is. (BMR stands for basal metabolic rate) This is how many calories your body burns when at rest.
This can be found on the internet.
Try www.room42.com/nutrition/basal.shtml
2.Then when you have found out what your own BMR is, you can start planning your meals and exercise plan.
So, lets say your BMR is about 1400 calories per day, you could divide that up into seven meals of 200 calories per meal every 2 hours and your body will start metabolising it much faster than say if you ate 3 meals of 500 calories.
3.Switch to low fat milk and cut out all butter and margarines. Steam yours fish and meat and fry as little as possible. Limit your fat intake.
Whatever you do, I must stress that you must not starve your self or you will slow your metabolism almost to a standstill because your body is programmed to fight when withholding food, and this is the mistake that so many people make and it is so discouraging to someone who desperately wants/needs to lose weight.
The weight will shift if you persevere with smaller meals that are divided evenly throughout the day and you won't get hungry because you are constantly eating small meals. Then get an excercise bike and cycle for 5 minutes on a moderate - fast speed and do this after every second meal or every meal if you wish. You will be building some muscle on your legs and this extra muscle will start to burn fat.
It will take about one- two weeks before your body begins to burn fat. So don't give up, just keep persevering until your metabolism becomes revved up.
If you mess it up just keep going- you'll get there.
4.Invest in a set of digital scales that measure your body fat content and weigh your self in the morning and in the evening and record it in a notebook. The reason so many people give up is because it doesn't feel like anything is happening. With digital scales you will see tiny amounts of fat shifting at a time, which you cannot see on ordinary scales. I was losing about 30-50 grams of pure fat each day. Over a week this adds up!
I couldn't find any easy solutions, I did use the odd meal replacement shake but found that I had to eat real food as well.
I hope this info helps in some way.
Goodluck

Hi!
I've done the Optifast shake diet...nothing, I mean nothing other than the shakes and at least 2 litres of water a day.
It worked (but really, how couldn't it!) and I lost over 20kg in 3 months...BUT this does NOT teach you how to eat properly...there I was 20kg lighter but by then I was craving food SOOOOO BAD that as soon as I was able to have food in my diet, I'd eat the wrong food because I was so deprived...I was even craving things like chocolate which I don't particularly like because I wanted something!
Needless to say the weight came back and brought reinforcements!!!
I've just started the CSIRO plan (not a diet...a plan for the rest of my life) and even though it's early days it is very good.
My advice would be to start something that you will be able to maintain...don't do the shakes - any quick fix is just that...a quick fix - and unless you change your whole perspective on eating, it's just a band-aid fix that will eventually creep back!

Hi there
No diet pills or detox from a chemist will help - i have tried them all in the past and they work for a little while but that is all - You shouldn't diet - rather you should just eat well for life - i have been studying this for years - i might be able to help you if you let me know what you are eating (and i mean everything - every mouthful - no cheating!!) and what you are doing exactly for exercise???
There is a juice though on the market that works wonders - i am a personal testimony of it as are a few people i personally know that take it - It is called 'mangosteen juice' - it doesn't JUST help you loose weight it helps with skin problems (eg.acne /psoriasis / exema etc), memory, sight, all over body wellbeing - and for me personally it helped with anxiety as well as weight loss
check it out hey -at - www.sarahbrad.com
If you need any advice with what to eat and exercise please email me and i will happily freely help you

Hi,
Don't feel as though you are alone and there is no help out there. I have read you message. I used to feel the same way you did and tried everything. I have tried the detox and the fat burner tablets. Nothing worked. I even go to the gym frequently. I literally gave up.
However one day i stubbled across the newspaper and found this thing about weight lose. I thought I will give it one more try.
I used to be so tried but after going on to this diet, I feel great. I feel so energetic and the weight started to go without just myself noticing but so did others.
I have a friend who is an older lady age 61yrs old and tried it out. She lost more than 40cm from tummy and hips within one month.
If you really want to know more about it you can call me on (02) 9437 7168 or check out mywebsite www.healthnweight.net.
One thing i can add is that there is a 30day money back guaranteed
