Itching 'down there'.....sorry TMI

:oVery embarrassing............I am 16 weeks and get very itchy 'down there'. Kind of like when you have thrush. I am getting alot of discharge, it seems to be the normal pregnancy discharge, not a thrush discharge IYKWIM.
It is not constantly itchy, it is worse at the end of the day, so I go and have a shower and that seems to help.

Anyone have the same thing? Not sure if I should make an appointment with the doctor or just wait until my next appointment.

Try 2 tablespoons of white vinegar in 2 cups of warm water and wash down there (but not inside) and see if that eases it.

Lots of changes going on down there. I think only you would be the best judge on whether you need to see a doc

It may not be thrush (if you don't think it is), but so you know, you are 5x more likely to get thrush while pregnant than usual, so it would be a strong possibility.

Sounds a lot like vaginal thrush - go and see your doctor. There's nothing to be embarrassed about :)

If that is indeed what you have, it's really easily fixed with some cream from the chemist.
