I've only used Monkey Doodlez, Honeyboys, BB MagicAlls, Bumgenius and another WAHM one and I have to say that Monkey Doodlez are far and away my favourite AIO.

They just fit around Jedd's little legs really nicely and have never leaked

Whats your fave AIO?

I am just browsing atm as I have never used MCN's but am interested in trying some, and was thinking of using AIO's for ease of use (especially for DH:rolleyes: ).
So will be interested to see peoples opinions, might help me out a bit.
PL- my boy is 4.6kgs atm but I want a nappy to last as long as possible before buying new ones, is there a one size fits all nappy? Or should I just buy like a medium size( I am looking at magicalls and berry plush and monkey doodles right now) and wait to start using them until he hits the 7kg mark.
I really cant afford to buy small nappies now and then upgrade in size in a couple of months. Sorry not trying to hijack your thread tell me bugger off if you want lol!

Bugger off Julie! Haha  .

Bumgenius are great, as are Blueberry and Green kids. They will fit from birth right up until toilet trained

Good luck!

Bugger off then!

Nah - just joking :)

As far as I know there isn't any AIO that is a OSFM (one size fits most). There are OSFM pockets and fitteds though which might be a good place for you to start. Pockets are probably the most similar thing to an AIO that you will get that is a OSFM, so I would recommend a couple of Green Kids.

Are you planning on using them full time or part time? I HAD planned on using cloth full time, but I realised when hubby was away for 6 weeks that biodegradable sposies certainly have their advantages too, so I now use a happy combination of both.

Oh - if money is tight (as it is for most of us) then maybe you could look at getting some second hand? There is a second hand auction website called buy for baby (google it) that specialises in cloth nappies. Fantastic!

Oh - and MonkeysUndies too, but I dont think many people use it to sell nappies though...

I use to only use AIOs Lil Xmen thinking they were just easy. But I have since found that there really isnt much more to pockets especially if you get the Pocket Change nappies where you chuck the whole wet pocket in the wash without having to pull the dirty insert out first.

Back to OP question. The Monkey Doodles are probably the most absorbant but they get pretty bulky I actually dont mind the cushie tushies for home but they really are only good for 1 or 2 wees (when they are boosted)

I love snap-in-AIOs. These are usually called all-in-two's (AI2s) though. I really prefer them because they can be more absorbent without taking yonks to dry because the absorbent layers aren't built-into the nappy. They usually snap out and hang separately on the line.

I love the Itti Bitti AIOs for this. And HoopDeeDoo (Em) makes an awesome AI2, a real show-off nappy :)

Other then that, I really prefer pockets because they are just like an AIO when stuffed. And stuffing takes all of 5 seconds, yet the nappy dries faster and you can customize absorbency. I wasn't keen on the Pocket Change ones, but our Green Kids and BumGenius OSFM pockets are great.

Gotta have a couple of Cherub's Kiss HoneyBoys though!! They are nice

OMG so how are you supposed to choose:hair:
I want ones that look pretty like the berry plush ones lol.
PL - I was thinking of using cloth by day and sposies by night so I am not changing soggy bums and sheets at night ( am not good at getting up in the night, but then who is!)

Thanks for the help and sorry for butting in. Hope to be round here a bit more soon, when I finally decide what nappies to buy!

The best AIO for me has been Mommys Touch. Nobody here seems to know about them, you buy them from Natures Cradle. Or u can get them from Mommys Touch dot com. They are awesome nappies- come with one built in insert and one snap in insert, snaps or velcro, AIO or pockets, and heaps of cute designs. My son has 9 of them and they are great. They dry really quickly too!

LilXmen: I have a honeyboy, and personally I dont use it much as its a bulky nappy! And not sure if id use it in summer either.

Nappylicious make a osfm AIO. Google them.

I can't go past itti bittis as an AIO/AI2

But for great value for money I am loving the BB magicalls at the moment....I had one on DS for 5hrs yesterday (nap included) and it was still perfectly dry!

Very impressed!

Sunshine Tots also have an AIO that is a OSFM. I have two of them and they are great.

My other favourite AIO's are Bubblebub's and Itti Bitti's:thumbsup:

Id have to say that i love my BB MagicAlls, i know some people have a lot of issues with them but thankfully they fit my DD nicely. They are also great for the price.

other than that id have to say i like itti bittis AI2s. They are so trim and fit under alot of DDs clothes.
