My 3.5 month old twins have decided that they will only stay in the pram for no more than 20mins, this means i cant take them out for walks because then they get hysterical.
This has happened ever since they were 5 weeks old and they started sleeping on there tummies because they hated sleeping on there backs.
They used to love being in the pram and they used to fall asleep in there but now its a different story.
What can i do to get them back into the pram again?

Oh you poor thing, I know what you are going through.
My son was the same at that age and I hate to say it but still is now at 12mths.
My son is also a tummy sleeper and I use to have to put him on his tummy in the pram to get him to sleep. He is now to big to go on his tummy in the pram and he will not sleep on his back. So basically I need to be at home for his sleep times so he can sleep in the cot.
The most my DS will stay in the pram for now is about 20mins and thats only when I give him a snack to eat. It's really hard and frustrating when I need to go shopping or to pay bills etc.
Iv'e tried letting him scream but I hate it when other people stare at me like i'm killing my child for letting him cry. So basically I need to just carry him everywhere, but he is getting to heavy for that too.
I'm sorry I don't really have any answers for you as I'm in the same situation, but I know how yopu feel.
Take care and good luck

Thanks Tina,
Its a pain but i have to work around it. I have a Baby Bjorn but it means i can only carry one at a time.

I f you get two ring slongs, you can actually carry them both at once. You *may* look a bit pack horseish, lol, but many women find this is the only solution.
Try www.hipbubby.com Jayne makes the most divine slings, or try www.mbeleko.com another lovely WAHM who make lovely ones. Good luck!
(A good ring sling will see you through until your babies are about three as weel, a lot longer than a baby bjorn type carrier.)
I really feel for you:( My DS has never liked going in his pram so I always ended up carying him but thats not realy an option for you with 2 little ones.
Sorry I don't have any advice as DS is 15mths and still won't stay in the pram for more than 10min.
I just hope that they will grow out of it soon or someone on here can suggest something that works
Good luck

Hello, i feel your pain. Though i don't have twins my ds went through this for about a month at 2.5mths. And i'm a single mum and needed him in the pram to do shopping ect and just for my sanity,as you do too.
Anyway in melb when we where having the really hot days high 30s ect and he was unsettled at home and tryed to go for works but wouldn't go in the pram for longer than 5 mins then one day i got feed up and put a muslin wrap in there with him and almost instantly he stopped crying. i dont know what it was but since then when ever he is in his pram he has his muslin and his happy! He likes to wrap it around his arm and suck on it or just hug it. Maybe its a comfort thing, it smells more like his things at home, i don't know but it works.
Maybe just try out a few things a fav toy or blanket or something and see how you go. '
Good luck , i know i needed it and then i stumbled accross something that worked
