 Hi there,
I recently found out I'm pregnant (I've done a few HPT's and they were all positive, hoping blood tests will confirm it next week) and was just wondering how far along everyone is, and how you're feeling. What symptoms are you having atm?
I have no idea how far along I am yet, around 4 weeks I think, but already I'm feeling very tired (even about 3 hours after waking in the morning, and especially in the afternoons), nausea comes and goes throughout the day (especially in the mornings), sore n!pples, sore back etc. I didn't find out I was pregnant with DD until 8 weeks, so obviously the symptoms weren't as noticeable with her as they seem to be with this baby.
I'd love to hear how everyone else is feeling, how far along you are, and what symptoms you're experiencing.
Looking forward to chatting to you all more in the coming months! :babydust2:
Hey Emsmum, i am 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have nausea and tiredness and that's about it. I never get nipple soreness or boob soreness, my twin sister does though! She got it last time i was pregnant too. hehe. Other than that i think i may definately be looking pregnant much sooner this pregnancy than last, i am still carrying around quite a few kilos more from last pregnancy. So i feel 5 months pregnant already! lol That's about it though.
Congrats again too!

Thanks V8, congrats to you too!
That's so adorable, that your twin sister had sore n!pples when you were pregnant. I think I'll be showing quite early too, I already feel bloated and can't suck my tummy in (well I can, but it's too much hard work  ), even DH said last night 'nice muffin top' (which was hanging over the top of my trackies  ! Oh dear!

Okay where to start???
i am 7 ish weeks at the moment.
Starting this week i have had all day sickness. It starts when i get up to go to the toilet around 5am and then i usually vomit once or twice and just feel yuck till about 11am. The rest of my day is okay as long as i take it easy and dont smell anything yucky. Last night i made some bread and vomited at the smell....but i dont care as long as this little buba is nice and healthy.
Also my boobs are huge and sore and i have a sore lower back. nails are growing well and i am an emotional mess half the time.
It all sounds bad but luckily i stopped work a few weeks ago for other reasons and that has really taken the presure of me because if i dont feel crash hot i rest.
Good luck to everyone else and i hope all of you that are working or looking after other kids give yourselves some rest time too!!

Hi !
I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant .
Not too many symptoms here at the moment , just really tired of an afternoon , quite hungry , sore back already and sooo bloated!
This pregnancy is so different from my last .
This time last pregnancy I was so sick I couldn't stand the smell of any food and this time around I really want food and last time my boobs hurt so much this time their a little tingly but feel pretty normal!
I had a girl last time... keep thinking I might be having a boy cause pregnancy is sooo different so far .
Anyway...we'll see :)
Looking forward to chatting with all of you through our pregnancies !!

I can't be bothered TBH

Very freaky indeed!
I feel like **** I am constantly tired, I am cramping a lot, I have all day nausea and I have constant backache.
Thankfully it will all be worth it in the end!
This is a boy for sure all this grief lol (yeah, typical male)
I have also got a wicked sense of smell Eliza's hair was bothering me so much the other night I could not sleep, I smell certain things and I feel sick.
I'm like that when I walk past the seafood section at safeway - :barf:
I have gone of sweet things and like savoury more I get starving in the night and eat and eat and then feel sick all day
Yeah, I've been heaps hungry too - last night at 10.30pm I made myself some vegemite toast, and I seem to be just wanting to eat every couple of hours.
boobs not sore yet
Oh and I am soooooo bloated!
ttcin2007, sorry to hear that you've got a bad case of morning sickness. I'm actually quite happy to be feeling unwell, because although a felt a little nauseous at the beginning of my pregnancy in January, all the symptoms went away at about 9 weeks so I'm hoping to feel sick, be really tired & have sore (.)(.)'s for at least another 8-10 weeks then I'll know things are progressing well. You're lucky to be able to have a rest if you're not feeling well, and not having to go to work must have taken alot of the stress away. I had to have a nanna nap y'day arvo so DH watched DD for me because he got home from work early :smiliedance: , I wasn't so lucky today. Early night for me tonight!

Isn't it interesting to see how completely different pregnancies can be. I'm surprised that I'm feeling all the symptoms so early on in this pregnancy, whereas with DD I had no idea I was pregnant until I was 8 weeks and the symptoms didn't really kick in until after my pregnancy had been confirmed. Maybe I'm having twins  god help me!!

Thanks hun  you know when I was pregnant with my DD I was initially so worried about putting on too much weight, but then I thought to myself 'don't worry about it, deal with losing it after the birth' and the weight fell off really quickly (for me anyway). Having bigger, fuller boobs has gotta be a perk yeah?? Suppose we should make the most of it, they'll start sagging before we know it!

Where to start?
Ok - 8 weeks here.
Feeling revolting - nauseous almost all day, but haven't thrown up at all - sometimes think I'd feel better if i did.
Don't ever know what I feel like eating, nothing it appealing at all - I've even gone off my two favourites - coffee and chocolate! Find if i eat something little every hour and a half that i feel better - sometimes a glass of red cordial is just as good as eating something.
My boobs are enormous - i was a 10D, and had to buy a couple of wireless bras for comfort. I got 12D and they only just fit. Think it won't be long before I have to buy maternity bras. And I definitely have a little pot belly.
I'm tired, but all my normal routines are out of whack - i need a nap every afternoon, but wake up between 4 and 6am to go to the toilet and then can't get back to sleep for ages.
I can't seem to find a comfortable temperature - if i have bare arms i have goosebumps, but if i put on something warmer i feel overheated.
I definitely have stronger BO - think unshaved European underarms! Never been a stinky person before. And TMI warning! DH says i "taste" different.
Lots of different things - but all worth it! And after our little scare yesterday, I'm not wishing any of these symptoms away.

Can i just say bigger boobies are not good!!! I started out a large 14 DD and now after not going down much after last m/c and now being preg again they are 16F!!!!! I have already moved into maternity bras for comfort as they are so tender. I think when i go for my 12 week scan i will have to get bigger maternity bras and i just hope they sell them!!!

cindye, isn't it great feeling so awful   bring on the awfulness I say, at least we know things are going well! hope you're feeling better soon.
ttcin, I am a 16DD  so they will be a good floatation device for me when I go swimming. I'd hate to see what size I am in 6 months time. I started in maternity bras at about 4 months when I was pregnant with DD, think I ended up an 18E. I think I meant that it's good for girls who were small to begin with :D
I can't believe how hungry I am! If I don't eat when I first get hungry my tummy makes the loudest, grumpy sounding rumbling noises - it's quite embarassing how loud it is

Of course I remember you, great to hear from you! I still have a very long way to go, but if I can get pregnant anyone can. It's taken us a long time, but I feel very positive about this baby so :fingerscrossed: . Keep trying, your baby will be along in no time! :hugs:

I am 7 weeks today. My only symptoms are very sore boobs and feeling very tired. Yesterday I caught the train into the city and only realised when I arrived that I had forgotten to buy a ticket. I nearly died. So maybe I am also a little more forgetful. Oh yeah, I also forgot to go to my regular Pilate's class the other night... I had better start writing things down and checking my diary more often.
Have a great weekend all!

Ahhhh, after two early tests giving me a BFN, I had to check again when AF was just not happening. To my shock and surprise, I was not wrong the first 2 times, this time I got a nice BFP!
I think I'm around 4.5 weeks. Technically 5.5, but I think my cycle might be a bit longer than normal. I'll go to the doc to do the tests and ultrasound and stuff 1st of Oct. By then I should be feeling horribly sick. (I don't want to be too early, last time I was and the ultrasound couldn't show a heartbeat yet).
I'm really excited, but it also means that my life will never be back to normal! 2 young kids, what was I thinking!! Can I still go back and postpone it a bit??? (naah, I really want this one, just didn't think it would happen first go).
Good luck girls, I hope everything will be a smooth ride (with a little nausea ok) for everyone:yes:

Hi all!
Just found out today i am 7 weeks and 6 days preggers!! YIKKES!
This is my first time, i really have not much idea about what i am meant to do or not do, so excuse me if i ask silly questions.
I just booked in to see a doctor this saturday so hopefully she will be able to help me out and set me on the right path.
I've had morning sickness for the past 2 weeks, not too bad, but a lot of dry retching and i find after a big day at work and a long train ride as soon as i get home i'm straight on the toilet sick again! Hopefully it'll slow down soon and i can get back to feeling slightly normal!

I'm 36 and a half weeks...not long to go. I'm so over it and hopefully she'll be here soon!
I'm taking Rasberry Leaf tablets, having sex (though very difficult now), walking lots and hoping that something will bring on labour soon!
Lockie was born at 37 weeks and he was 3.2kg so I don't want to go over with this one or I'll be having an elephant!

I am in my 9th week.... Up until 2 weeks ago I was cruising!! Counting my blessing that I wasn't like my mother who had terrible morning sickness from week 6 off all her pregnancies until about week 15!!).
I had been very crampy, boobs getting bigger no weight going on but definitely bloated.
The last couple of weeks I have been so tired. A 30 min walk leaves me feeling horrid! Constant nausea (but no vommitting yet!!) and my sense of smell is out of control!
The other night I had to get up and spray the room with eucalyptus spray because all I could smell was the soup we had for dinner!
Today I feel like a big blob of bloated errrgh! I haven't weighed myself, but I feel like I have put on 5 kgs in a week.
I wish 12 weeks would hurry up so that I might feel a bit better and that I can tell people (and not feel so self-concious about my bump...).
Must soldier on!

Hi
I am 7 and a half weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I have been feeling quite unwell, but not yet throwing up. I just feel like i have to eat or im going to pass out.
I already have a pot belly, although first thing in the morning it tends to not be visible until I have eaten a bowl of cereal. And at nights, it seems quite a big bump.
Tiredness......indeed im really tired. I cant complete my day without a nana nap. And i barely make it to 10pm at nights now.
My boobs havent grown much, nor are they sore. Im sure my hubby was wishing that was the main symptom of pregnancy he surely would love to see change immediately. Oh well, we all cant have everything now, can we....
Well as i yawn now, Im finding it hard to think of more things that this pregnancy is throwing at me. baby brain is probably something I have never recovered from since having my first.......
All in all, loving every moment....cant wait to be fat!

Thanks Emsmum and Pixie!!
One thing i was wondering is when to start telling people. For some reason i feel like i want to keep it a little secret for a while longer, i know everyone i tell will be over the moon but i would like to wait till maybe a few more weeks (currently i'm almost 8 weeks!)
My partner is finding it hard to keep it to himself though, on the morning we got the BFP I told him to be quiet about it until a few more weeks... he sent me an email at work an hour later telling me he already told his brother and cousin!!
I think i am going to hold off telling work for as long as possible, although i was tempted today as i've been gagging just when certain people talk to me! haha!! ohdear :(
Other than that, all is good so far! :)

One thing i was wondering is when to start telling people.
You tell people whenever you feel comfortable, alot of people wait until they get through the first trimester before telling people, alot of people tell their friends/family straight away so I guess it's just your preference. We will be waiting until I'm about 14 weeks, or can't hide it anymore, before telling anyone but that's only because we miscarried earlier in the year.

HI everyone
I am 8weeks and 6days. Been feeling pretty good (definately count myself lucky that I haven't been vomiting!). Have a queasy feeling for most of the day, but it is pretty bearable. When I am tired it is much worse, and I feel like I am going to :barf: but I have found that Eno is a fantastic remedy!!!! I carry it in my handbag at all times.
My boobers are getting bigger (and harder!), but I hope that stops soon, because I am already a 12E.
Can't wait until I have a proper bump instead of a hard bloated tummy. DP said on the weekend "Oh look! You have a little baby bump!!" I had to break it to him that the little jellybean is only about as big as a grape, and that the bump was just my fat!!!
I am looking forward to us all sharing our pregnancy journies together :smiliedance:
Wishing for everyone healthy, happy times ahead!!

:babydust2: Totally relate to you katiemaree. I've felt the same sort of things. I'm a 1st time mum 2!
Am 12 weeks pregnant today.
Had nausea for past 4 weeks which turned to horrid bouts of dry-retching yesterday and had to leave wk to come home. Anything was setting my senses off- including horrible food advertisements and meat thawing on the bench!
Started showing @ 8wks (i'm a small frame) and my belly does seem quite flat in morning & larger by night. Mum thinks I'm carrying fluid, just like she did with me.
Have had cramping but now comes and goes.
Have had cravings for tangelos, cheeseburgers, salted chips (especially kettle chips!) and chocolate.
Have been very tired and get tired easily. Been dropping off to sleep most days before 7.30pm.
Looking forward to scan next friday, as my 1st scan showed a little kidney bean with a racing, flashing heart-beat:D
Hopefully the nausea will go soon so I can eat bigger meals again!:babydust2:

Hi, I'm 7 weeks and very tired! I don't remember feeling so bad with my first. Not sure if it's selective memory or that looking after my 8month old is taking it out of me. He has decided that now is a good time to start waking in the night again:hair:
But (touch wood) not too sick just nauseous in the afternoons,
keep well,
