Best way to clean MCN?

Soooo, Brayden had gastro/diorriah (sp?) all day yesterday, the nappys are discusting.... how can i clean them so that they are completely sanitised the best....? just the same as normal?? hot wash? etc

I would do a hot wash, and leave out under the UV rays for 2 days just to make sure :yes:

What about putting some of the cansten product that you can buy for washing from the supermarket. I think it's antifungal and anitbacterial.

Or maybe the dettol inwash liquid. I'm not sure on the rules for MCN's though, it they would effect them at all:confused:

I'd do a pre-wash rinse. I'd do a long hot wash, maybe put some of that Dettol rinse in the rinse cycle (I've never used this but heard of it) and then hang in the sun.

Yep, I'd do as the others said. You could also run them through a cool cycle in the dryer when you bring them in out of the sun, for 1/2 an hour or so, just to give some added heat....will make sure any remaining germs are well and truly dead...

we dont have a dryer... :(

i ended up putting them on a cold pre wash rinse... then a long hot wash and will add dettol in wash to the last rinse... then hang them in the sun all today and tomorrow... hopefully that kills all nastys!
