My 7 week old son suffers from bad wind/colic and I have started drinking 2 cups of peppermint tea a day whilst breastfeeding to try and aid his digestion and help calm digestive spasms. I am also giving him 1ml of cooled peppermint tea a few times a day.
Has anyone ever done this before and if so noticed a positive outcome?

I started drinking the pep tea once a day and it seemed to help but not as much as something like mylanta or gripe water.
What also helped us was bicycling the legs, putting her belly down along my arm or legs and patting her back and she enjoys being held over my shoulder with her belly facing my chest. Massage is also good for wind.
I think you drinking it as well as giving it to him might be a bit much IMHO. Maybe try either you taking it or giving it to him for a week or two and see how you go.
