my beautiful daughter is 19 months old (wow already time flys) and she keeps taking her clothes off ive tried letting her pick the clothes she wants to wear but she still takes them off or refuses to put them on anybody got any ideas about how to keep her clothes on other then using masking tape
Nope...sorry, no ideas from me.
Just thought I add that my almost 3yr old DS refuses to wear clothes at all if we are at home, unless people come over. He sleeps naked, spends all day playing naked...he even eats naked, I do make him sit on a towel or something so his poor little bottom doesn't stick to the seat tho. The only time I can convince him to put clothes on is when he wants to play outside, coz he knows he sticks to the slide without clothes on...and he also worries that our dog will lick his bottom:p
I guess it's just a phase...my old neighbours kids ran around naked at home til they were in school.

We are nudists - not the whole colony thing but I hate clothes and so do my girls!! The only person in our house who wears clothes ALL the time is DP. Both our girls got their dislike of clothes from me - I strip off whenever I can
I just let them run around nude unless we have visitors or if they are playing outside they have to have at least a hat and a t shirt - I have always done this with both of them so it isn't an issue.
If we are going out - they obviously have to wear clothes. DD2 is not bothered (not old enough to know yet) but sometimes DD1 just wants her knickers or just a shirt on, I keep explaining to her that it is not the done thing. "When we go out we have to wear clothes because everyone else does and we don't want to upset anyone" seems to be working at the moment but I can't remember what I used to do when she was around 19 months. I think I just used to dress her if we had to go out (last thing before we walked out the door!!) otherwise she was a nudie!!

My DD was a nudist toddler too. Always stripping off. Especially if there was water around. She would get in the laundry bucket when I put water in it. I never bothered about it too much unless it was really cold or hot. We never had issues going out though, she happily got dressed then. As she got older (now 5) she kind of grew out of it. We sometimes have issues over what she will wear but even that seems to be fading. Generally I put out in the loungeroom clothes for her and DS in the morning and tell them to get dressed after breakfast. That way we don't have debates over what to wear. It has become a habit for them to just put on whatever I put out.
