Yeah it was really hard trying to organise it because alot of things were getting booked out really fast. We were having family up at that time and that weekend was just the best to have it on. I didn't even think about it being lucky until the week before when they started writing things in the paper about it.

Pretty cool that your son was born on your first wedding anniversary :)

we were married Jan 1 2005 - we wanted to be able to say that we had been married the entire year :) also it's a date we can't forget and DH works in retail so it means he'll always have the day off

also it was a very late afternoon ceremony so we weren't asking too much of the new year's eve partygoers
