WEEKEND PLAYGROUP Sth Brisbane

Hey!
Unfortunatley I have to work full time and don't have the chance to meet and chat with other mums due to Playgroup Australia not having playgroups on weekends. I really want to either start or join a playgroup on weekends around the Heritage Park, Regents Park, Browns Plains areas for myself and my 14 mth old daughter.
Is there anyone out there that goes to a playgroup on the weekends around these areas or are interested in starting one?

Hi...A weekend playgroup sounds like a good idea :) My DH works on saturdays so we are always looking for something fun to do. I'd definatly be interested in joining you. My DS is 3yrs old and DD is 13weeks, so there is a bit of an age difference...but DS is pretty good and plays quite well with younger/smaller kids.
Oh, and we live in Hillcrest :) If you wanna try and organise something let me know.

id be interested as well. my df works on saturdays and i always find myself bored waiting for him to get home. i have a 17 week old daughter and a nearly 3 yr old daughter who absolutely loves children of any age. Im in browns plains.

This is great! We could plan something next Sat 25th of Feb if you like. Once we get together we can decide what we would like to do each time we meet, how often we want to get togther etc. Just email me with your email address and contact details and we can go from there! how about we meet at grand Plaza for coffee and cake on saturday mid morning? That way it is pretty central to everyone and we can get a chance to meet and work and get to know each other. Is this ok?

Hi everyone

Quiet a while ago I tried to organise a weekend playgroup around this same area, but had no luck. I to normally work full time (on maternity leave at the moment - had bub #2 last Tuesday 32weeker due to Hellp syndrome) and would love to be part of a weekend playgroup.

Please count me and my boys in, it will just be me and Jayden (22mths) until Isaac comes home.

Im so sorry, but Jayden and I won't be able to make it this Saturday. I forgot that Jayden's nanna is visiting so Troy and I can spend the day at the hospital with Isaac.

That's ok ,I understand. Unfortunately I didn't read the message until after I came back. I went there and me and my daughter ended up having cheesecake on our own! That's ok though, it was good to go down there for some chill time anyway.
Next week sounds good, we can meet there again if you like.
