Hi,

Today is my first day here and I have already found it quite helpful.

I am 27 years old and 9 and half of weeks pregnant with my first, which is due on 21st April 2008.

I posted in another forum this morning bout how sometimes I "dont feel" pregnant, especially today. Is this normal or me being paranoid?

Look forward to chatting! :smiliedance:

Welcome sh80

I am also 27 and due with my first....this is the perfect place for you to come as the ladies we have in our April group are great at answering any questions you have - they have been more help to me than my doctor

Enjoy the journey ahead, and I'm sure you will benefit lots through this forum

HELLO!
We have the same due date:D I'm also a first time mum but quite a few years younger than you!
Congradulations and welcome to the April Area, so many lovely ladies in here, i'm sure you will have a ball and make lots of nice new friends!
As for not "feeling pregnant" some days i feel more pregnant than others lol and i wonder like you do if something is up but i've learnt to try and not worry unnecessarily, its when you get the heavy bleeding and pain that you gotta worry.
However to put your mind at ease, might pay to ring or see your doc?
I'm sure all is fine!:hugs:
Once again CONGRADULATIONS!:smiliedance:

hello and congrats.
I'm 28 and due 12th april 08, so i'm nearly 11 weeks, I still don't feel pregnant, no morning sickness at all, The only reason i believe it is cause i had an early scan.
Hope everything is going ok for you, but totally understand bout not feeling pregnant.
This is my first as well so it is a big learning curve, have no idea what to expect!
I have my nuchal scan next week, looking forward to seeing my growing baby!
good luck!!:) :) :)

Hi,

Welcome to the April Chat room.

I am 12weeks on Monday and there are still times where some one asks me how my pregnancy is going and I kind of wake up and go " oh that's right I'm going to be a Mum!!"

I think that once you have the ultrasound and see your baby for the first time, once it starts showing on the outside it will set in.
