I am wondering if anyone can help me to find out how to make my body more acidic. Apparently it helps in the conception of a girl
I've never heard of that sorry, but do you know if it is healthy? I'd be careful with that one.

Havent heard of that one but i have heard of if you have sex 6-3 days b4 the eggs released u have more chance to get a girl as they swim slower and last longer. Where as if u have sex 2-0days b4 egg released its more likely to be a boy. not sure if it works though. would be interesting to know. good luck.
Never heard of it hope someone else can help

hi there,
lots of the methods i've heard do not work , so beware.
i have heard that if you're older you're more likely to conceive a girl.
i have noticed that young women with older partners seem to have more boys.anyone else?
it depends how bad you want a girl. there is a program in the us called family balancing, where you pay to travel to the us (it's not avail in aus anymore) and you do an ivf cycle . you choose which embryo to have transferred ,male or female. they guarantee you the gender virtually ,but the cost is around $20,000.
so it really depends how much you want to spend i spose.
apparantely a lot of aussies are doing it.
i think it is the only real way of gender selecting.
everyone tells you something different.
good luck.
Douche - The pH of the women's tract is considered to be an important factor in determining gender. An acidic environment favours girls, since it will kill the weaker Y-sperm first, leaving a greater quantity of X-sperms available to fertilise the egg. On the other hand, a more alkaline environment favours boys. Hence, Dr Shettles recommends a douche of water and vinegar immediately before intercourse to favour a girl, while a douche of baking soda will help for a boy.
Coital Position - Position of intercourse and depth of penetration have also been identified as important considerations in influencing baby's sex. A deep penetration (by the rear) during intercourse places the sperm closer to the egg, enabling the male sperm to swim directly into the reproductive tract, without the risk of being killed by the acidic environment of the vagina. The missionary position facilitates shallow penetration and is ideal if you want girls.
Women should also avoid orgasms when trying for girls, explains Drs Shettles and Rorvik. When a woman has an orgasm, the body releases a kind of substance that makes the environment more alkaline, and hence more ideal for the male sperm to survive!
Hey Claire you were right  No orgasms:eek:

Hello there...
I am currently seeing a Naturopath & are getting Pre-Conception Treatment to ready my body for my next pregnancy....
It is not reccomended to have a high acid diet - it can cause alot of problems for you - even making it harder to fall pregnant!
High acidity in your body can cause digestive problems, urinary tract infections, joint & muscle weakness, skin problems, irritable bowel issues & many more!
Some high acid foods to avoid or watch your intake are
beer, chicken, chocolate, jams, pasta, tea, white bread, white rice, beef, white flour, lamb, and many more....
My naturopath gave me a sheet with Acid & Alkaline Foods.... if you are interested i can type it up for you & email it. Just PM me of your keen.
I highly reccomend seeing a Naturopath if you are interested in this sort of stuff - they have all that sort of info...
All the best sweet:hugs:
Love & Light
