So Proud of my little man!!

I have to share! Blaze has been really wierd going to kinder etc and is soo shy and delayed with his brain injury that kinders been a mission just to get him to go there without me let alone play with other kids!

The teachers have said he wont play but he will watch the others or semi join in i guess, smiling and learning from them but he wont interact as such.

I just picked him up and I nearly cried :( i am such a sook but he asked if such and such could come and play one day after kinder as he was nice and shared puzzles with him. I know this might not seem like much but its huge for him to actually talk about someone at kinder let alone ask them to play i thought it was such an achievement for him! I said i dont know who that little boy is he goes its ok you can see him on wednesday and we can ask his mummy i think you will like him mum.

thats great punkbaby!!!:yelclap: ds started in the big room this year and whenever i pick him up he always seems to be playing by himself, until he found a friend!!! I think he stalked the hell out of this kid cause about 2 weeks later i asked him if he was still playing with him and jaxon said very sweetly " He keeps running away from me"
And i asked why and he said " He thinks he doesn't want to be my friend but i know he does so i keep following him" I had to hold in the laugh and try and convince him to find another friend!! Poor little man!!

6 months later he is still following this boy around and the little boy now plays with him.

Who says persistance doesn't pay off!!!!

But thats great punkbaby! Soon he will be the boss of the class:D

thats so cute jaxcoop :) and thanks hayleys mummy blaze wont talk to anyone and we struggle to even get him to talk to us so its like huge that he actually talked about this little boy let alone asked him to play usually its a mission just to get him there and i have to stay for an hour till i can sneak off so hopefully this is the start to him having the courage to go it alone. He just doesnt know how to express himself and we are trying to teach him how to do it all again it just seems like a battle but this is a great sign
