What I want to know, is how do you know when people are lurking? I have seen similar threads, and didn't even know what lurking was before! So tell me: how does one know when another is lurking?

Go right down to the bottom of the main page (where all the different thread are listed) and it shows you who is online:) Also in someones profile it will tell you if they are online or not:D

They either go undercover in which effectively turns the green light off ( don't ask me how, i just know it can be done) or they are just visitors have a peek but are not entitled to post a reply until the register.....I Think lol :)

I am such a knob, I always thought those names were for the time when there were "the most users ever"!

I wondered why my name was always there first!!!!!

In this particular case we know that this person is lurking 'cause she tells us in real life about how much she is enjoying reading the posts and is addicted to it.....but hasn't signed up - and we are trying to draw her into the vortex that is our love of bubhub!!!!
