Ok with lots of to and frowing I'm down to these to nappies for a day care situation. I was originally going to go BBB and then someone suggested the pockets. The pros and cons seem to be as follows

BBB pro - very absorbant! (big toddler wees here)
- Good work horse
BBB con - bulky
- need covers
- more hassle putting on/taking off

Haute Pockets pro - slimmer
- comes with insterts
- don't need a cover
- if stuff ahead of time it's a simple change
Haute pocket con - with the inserts provided it may not hold up to big toddler wees

So I thought I'd do a poll to see if I can draw on everyone else experience.

I've only tried the BBB and I love them! But I only use them at night. And I use pockets and prefold type things during the day. The BBB's could be a bit bulky if you have skinny clothes that the parents send them in.

Do you have to stick to just one brand? If it were me I'd have a few different brands. Some BBB's for sleeptimes etc, and maybe some Pockets or AIO's for playtime. You'll probably need less Pockets and AIO's than BBB because they don't take as long to dry, especially if you're using microfibre inserts.

Good luck with the decisions:)

Since you'll probably be changing quite freqently maybe try some BBH magicals aswell?

But agree, different nappies work for different babies and situations

Bumgenious pockets, or baby kangas would be a good idea too, being OSFM they can snap down for smaller babies

I said the pockets. Any kind :) I love my baby kangas! Only because the BBB's dont fit under some clothes so that could cause an issue as to what the kids come to u dressed in - just a thought.

I said the pockets, but what I really think is:

- Perhaps some BBB's for naps- they are awesome for sleeps.

- Perhaps choose a few OSFA pockets, like Green Kids anytimes and BumGenius (also come with inserts). As well as the Hautes.

- Maybe not worry too much about trying to get nappies to last as long as possible- some toddlers wee less, some more, some rush out waterfall-style etc (as you know). Maybe look to change hourly weather that be after one wee or more. If you do that, then a AIO such as Magic-alls would be great for the price, trim and effective.
