My parents have DD today, and I was thinking of doing something with DH and DS (because he is 100% breastfed). We can get in for $15 each if we do that Magnum icecream thing. Just wondering if it really is worth it. Our local cinemas are $6 each, so it would be almost triple what we could pay.

I found it was good to do once... but I don't need to go all the time. It's better if you are going to order a cheese platter or drinks and REALLY make the most of it and make it special, otherwise I'd just go to the normal cinema and would enjoy myself just as much :)

if you find that you never go to the movies its nice to spoil yourself and watch a movie in luxury :)

I have taken all my babies at one time or another to the movies, and they were fine, slept right through.

that's the thing, there isn't anything I'm particularly excited to see. The choices are:

Hairspray
No Reservations
Ratatouille
Star dust
Super bad
Borne ultimatum

I loved it! Been twice for my fiance's birthday and my own!

I highly recommend it if you have the spare cash to spend!

It's way more expensive (especially with food), but well worth it I say - while pregnant I refuse to go to the movies unless it is Gold Class :o
