I'm so Proud!!

My little man (14 months) has been rocked to sleep through the day since he was born. I love rocking him to sleep, but he is sooo heavy and wriggly, and lately it's been taking up to 40 minutes for him to doze off.

A few days ago when he started getting grumpy, I told him its beddie-byes time, put him in his cot, gave him a kiss and said goodnight. He waved to me (he does the 'Royal Wave'. so cute), rolled over and went to sleep!

He has done it every day since! :smiliedance: He seems to sleep longer and wakes up happier.

I'm soooo proud of him!

Wow, my daughter is rocked/held to go to sleep.. and for her to do that would be a HUGE achievement..

Congratulations! isnt it funny when it seems so easy, and you wonder why you never tried earlier!
