hi,

here's some recipes i have copied from other sites, but just type in vegetarian baby to google and you can find heaps. As far as starting them, i assume the dsame time as you would start meat about 6 months when they start to gum their food.

i am veg too and am going to start my bub on veg food when he gets a bit bigger :)

SOYBEAN PUREE

(Makes 2-1/2 cups or 12 food cubes)

Serve this nutritious dish to your baby.

1 cup dry soybeans
3 cups water
3/4 cup unsalted tomato juice for thinning
Rinse and soak the soybeans overnight in the refrigerator. Simmer beans in 3 cups water for about 2 hours. Puree with any equipment, adding tomato juice to thin.

i make a soup with butternut pumpkin and red lentil which i m going to use as baby food too

hope thats a help

peace
