Hi all

This is my first bub so I am very new to this site! I'm an older mum too (aged 35) as I was too hung up on travelling and have only just caught the parenthood bug after settling down here in the northern suburbs of Perth with my partner.
A friend recommended I check out this site as I have been so very bored after only 2 weeks of maternity leave! I never thought I'd hear myself say it but I miss work!! (I think I need to get out more... :) )

Bub is due on the 2nd March and I am very excited but also anxious about the whole thing. Looking forward to chatting to other mums and mums to be for much needed advice as I know nothing about childbirth or parenting!!

Hi Teeny T

Welcome to Bubhub.

Check out the Perth section of the forum and join our chat thread. Also look at our latest meet thread (march) hopefully you'll be able to join us at the zoo! We have fairly regular meets in Perth, so if you can't make this one, another will be arranged soon :)

Welcome TinyT! I'm also in Perth, however unlike you my maternity leave is about to end. :( Yeah, I remember before bubs was born...I got so bored on maternity leave....but after the birth the leave just went so quickly....just enjoy the time you have off while you can.

HI TeenyT
I am another oldy still getting used to this mum thing. I too was totally niave (and am still on a very huge learning curve) about this motherhood thing and have spent most of my years living/working/travelling abroad, so Im not sure that I can teach you anything but we might have some things in common!!!
Also while I already have my bub she is still teeny (4 weeks old) so everything is still very 'fresh' and I am still very much in horomonal/ sleepless delerium!
Good luck with the birth and enjoy your bub in his/her tiny stages...they really are very cute when they are so small
