Fulltime Working Mum in Morayfield

Hi there

I am a fulltime working mum in Morayfield. I've only just moved to the area and virtually don't know a soul!! It's a pretty lonley existence when all you have to talk to is your baby (I do love my son dearly) and two dogs.

My husband and I recently moved from Central Queensland. My husband, Adam still commutes back to Moranbah on a roster. He's away for two weekends a month and home for the others. I work fulltime in Brisbane city.

I would really like to meet some other mums, who are in similar circumstances. I have a beautiful 19 month old son (doesn't time fly). He just loves live and his favourite pastimes are swimming, climbing and watching his new fish. It would be great for both Mitchell and I too meet some other friends to get together on weekends. Mitchell just loves to play and it would be great if he could meet some playmates.

Maybe even in the future, we could swap babysitting. I know on the few weekends my husband is home we would love to have dinner occassionally.

My name is Saara. I'm not really in the same circumstances as you, but just thought I would say hi!

I'm 22 years old and 27 weeks pregnant (gonna be a single mum...) I'm also working full time in Brisbane (well, Murarrie, which is close!) My mum lives on Bribie, so I'm up that way quite a bit if you ever want to meet up or anything. I don't have a playmate for Mitchell, but I'm sure others here will!
