well where do i start have to vent in here cos i get no where with my dp? well this is the story my bro- inlaw is younger than us and still very much single! We have a two year old dd and another on the way? Bro inlaw happens to always be here and we have no time to ourselfs? ive mentioned it to dp and he just says its my brother? mind u i work three nites a week and he's here every one of them? i come home to a once clean house and its a pig sty! Every weekend ately dp has bn off doing things with him like right now we planned to take dd to the local circus tnite nope he's ****ed off:hair: ? Last weekend id had enough and it blew up in front of b inlaw and he just sat there didnt do what any normal person would do and leave us no he sat there like he was enjoying seeing me upset! We always seem to fight when he's bn round any suggestions on how to get my dp to wake up and see he's family here are more important or am i just over reacting

No your not overreacting. Talk to hubby about how you feel. Tell your Brother in Law to get a life!!!!!! and stop hanging around so much.
Get some space happening and try and get your hubby to put you and your family first before brother. Stop the boys club!!!!!:D

Can you write it all in a letter?
I have a very stubborn DH who often cannot see my side of the story, and as soon as I bring up something which puts him in the wrong he gets defensive (sounds like your partner too).
I have had great success with writing all my feelings in a letter. That way you get to take time to articulate your feelings, and he gets time to take it in without you being there...plus it gives him an oppurtunity to see your point of view without your BIL there at the time of argument.

I agree with Sal, letter writing helps you to vent and hopefully your DH to understand.
