Just tried my new Monkey Doodlez out. I only washed them once with a tiny bit of laundry liquid. They're only fleece aren't they, so one wash should have been enough? It wasn't left on for long either, but leaked down the legs a lot. Does this mean it doesn't fit properly? Now I'm gloomy...:gloomy:
Do you have any suggestions lovely ladies to brighten my day?
What age bub do you have? What size bub and what size MD did you buy?
I always say a couple of washes just to make sure any fabric sizing etc is gone.
If you are having leg leaks, I would say it's not quite on right, it should be nice and snug around the legs. We've not had any leaks with ours and we've been using them since before they were available here in Oz.

She is 4 months and weighs 5.6kgs. I got a size small MD.
It is just not my day today - she just leaked in her BB Magicall again! :hair: Why are they being temperamental? I'm nearly ready to give up on AIO's. The Magicall was wet up her back but the outside of the PUL was also damp - should that happen?

Oh no don't give up!!!!
Give it a few more goes and if it still does not work for you then sell or swap them!
What others have you tried?

is it the micro one? they are heaps better thats all and i found washing them about 4 times seemed to make them alot more absorbant

maybe your detergent is making the fabric repell the wee?? some detergents have a fabric softener in it which will make your nappies repel wee...
do the beading test - you may need to strip wash??
I wonder if the fabric is not absorbing fast enough for the wee flow?? I would personally trial it with a microfibre insert with a microfleece top (to keep the microfibre off the skin) ... ?? (I haven't had a MD leak .. but I do boost mine ..)
only other thing I can think is that its not snug around the legs??? :hugs:

I would say that means taht teh nappy was just saturated beyond its capacity. Leigh was in a gk for way too long the other day due to an exceptionally long sleep and the same thing happened, when I got him up and sat him on my lap my pants got wet through the pul. I never get leaks with them, the nappy was just absolutely soaking!
Good Luck finding a nappy that works for you!

The nappy wasn't full at all, had hardly absorbed any wee. Did the beading test, and it rolled off, so I did a strip wash yesterday. Is one wash without detergent enough, or should I wash more?
It is the micro monkey doodlez one.
