Quiet often DP or DS ask me what's for tea and if I have no idea my usual
response is: Buggered If I Know
What I was wondering is, what is your tried'n'true or totally fav 'buggered if I know' recipe, I've googled it and not come up with anything but if there is one place that buggered if i know would exist in our kitchens its in the kitchen of bub-hubbers lol.....lets share our buggered if i know recipes :chef:

fried rice is a good 'buggered if i know' recipe. cook the rice, then while it is cooling, stir fry whatever meats and/or vegies you've got. fry up a thin egg omelette to chop up. throw it all into a frypan to heat through and add some sauce (soy, tamari, plum, teriyaki, whatever is handy really).
we also do something similar with couscous if we can't be bothered waiting for rice to cook.

We have a running joke here.
If I ask my husband what he would like for dinner and he says " oh, surprise me", this is what I make....
Chicken and Potato Salad.
Mix the following up:
roasted potatoes (cooled)
some cooked bacon
cooked chicken (cooled) (I roast 2 breasts with oil and salt and pepper in the oven with the potatoes)
1/2 a container of sour cream
squirt of mayonaise
mustard to taste (I use about a tablespoon)
something green - chives or parsley.
Some fresh bakery bread
