Hi, I'm new to forums, so please be patient while i try to figure it all out!

I'm decided to sign up because i am starting to feel alone. I have a wonderful husband and great friends, but those with children all fell pregnant the second they started trying, and i've been trying for 17 months now.

I have had 2 laparoscopy's and dye studies, everythings ok, and i'm ovulating. I take Vitex, elevit, iron and folate. My husband takes fish oil and zinc. I try to eat well and exercise and although i am overweight, have lost 15kgs so far. My gyno is getting me to chart my temperature and is sending husband for analysis.

I know there are probably 1000's like me out there, and i try to stay positive, but i have this nagging feeling it is not meant to happen for me, and i don't know how to get past that?

Any advice / support will be greatly appreciated, i'm losing hope.

Hi kittykatz

Welcome to BubHub, I hope you like it here. There are so many supportive women here who are all TTC. I conceived my daughter naturally in 2003, however DH & I have been TTC#2 for nearly 3 years, and found out late last year that I have PCOS. I started taking Metformin and fell pregnant in January this year, but I miscarried at 11.5wks in March :gloomy: . So we are back to square 1, and have been trying again since April this year with no luck. My cycles are really long, 41-47 days, but hopefully the Metformin will regulate me a little. I'm currently on CD34 and still waiting  .

I know, in my case, it seems to be a weight related thing. When I lost 10-12kgs in 2003 I fell pregnant with my DD (we had been TTC her for over a year), so I'm trying to get down to the weight I was when I fell pregnant with her so I have about 6kgs to go (already lost 5kgs). :fingerscrossed: that will work for me and help me TTC. Other women, who look double the size of me, seem to have no trouble conceiving so I don't understand how that works, but I do believe that for me excess weight is a contributing factor, so back to the treadmill I go. Congratulations on losing 15kgs, do you have much more to go??

Anyhoo, enough blabbering from me. I do know how hard the TTC journey is, and I hope that you find all the support you need. :hugs:
