Hello there, myself & hubby have just found out we're pregnant. We already have a son who is 8yrs but this pregnancy seems different to my last. In the fact that I dont feel pregnant at all! We dont exactly know how far ahead we are due to the fact that my system went completely up the creek, we could be 4 or 6 weeks! Thing is with my son I knew straight away, breasts hurting, feeling sick all the normal signs but this time nothing. No sickness, breasts feel fine and in general just dont feel pregnant. We did 3 tests ourselves and then one with the Dr and all said yes, so why dont I feel it???
Has anyone else felt this at all? I know its early but as I say I knew last time!!
Anyone got any answers???

This happened to me too. My first pregnancy I felt everything, had morning sickness, the whole lot.

I am now pregnant again (about 5 1/2 weeks) and dont feel a thing.

I guess its better not feeling anything than wanting to throw up all the time.

Me too!!!

It was really off putting, I never felt like I was pg, not until I got really big with my 2nd. I felt pretty crappy tho.

my second pregnancy was like this to, i felt too good to be preganant! just count your blessings and enjoy it!(may make some other mums envious though)
it is only early days though, with my 1st and 3rd morning sickness didnt kick in until 6-8wks, dont want to put a downer on it but you never know you might be in for some yuckiness yet!(i hope not though :) )

Thanks for all your replys, at least Im not the only one then. I expect your right though it is early days, maybe the yukness will come later but Id definately prefer not being sicky.
Silly I know but I did another test today and it still says yes. It cant be wrong 5 times now cant it???

I actually had done 2 tests and both said positive... When I went to the Dr I said I don't feel pregnant and my breasts were sore and now they are not, and she was like " I think you might be miscarrying", Oh and she did a test in the middle of the day and it came up negative, so I went away feeling bummed... She said If I don't have my period by the end of the week, Do another test... I did the test, and sure enough it was positive... I went and had a blood test and to my Drs surprise I was pregnant and my hormones were in fact quite high... I no longer go to that Dr as I felt she should have just said Let's just run some tests(blood) and go from there, Instead of putting the whole miscarriage thing into my head... So the moral of the story is, Every pregnancy is different, and if you want to be sure, do a blood test to see where your hormone levels are at... My new Dr did them over 3 consecutive days and sure enough they were rising... It will at least give you some re-assurance... And as much as what we all hate being sick, If it hits you real soon, think of it as a good thing... :p

Hi,

With my pregnancy I didn't even guess I was pregnant until I was 10 weeks. I didn't have any nausea at all, no breast tenderness or fatigue. It wasn't until I was about 16 weeks into it that I felt like I was pregnant because I began to get a tummy and started feeling movements.

Thank your lucky stars you are still feeling fine ... hope it continues, best of luck :)

My first pregnancy i felt nothing, no sickness, no fatigue, didnt show for ages.... i found it so frustrating and couldnt wait to feel "pregnant"

With this pregnancy i have been sick from day one (just starting to settle now at 15 weeks) super fatigue (never mind i am chasing a 14 month old around as well!!) breast tenderness, popped out super quick (in maternity clothes at 7 weeks!!) anyway basically IT SUCKS!!

if you dont feel it, enjoy it :)

You ARE pregnant and you will know that soon enough when your tummy pops and you start feeling the bub move around, so just enjoy this time, make the most of it

Good luck to all
Tracey

I found out i was pregnant at 8 week, i didnt feel anything before hand, not even sore boobs and i didnt feel anything untill 21 weeks when i felt my son move for the first time, so i guess after hearing some women with bad morning sickness i feel like one of the lucky ones. :) mum to Connor 14/07/03
