Bored at home

Hi everyone,

New to bubhub (and it looks great!)

Nice to have such a great community and online support.

I'm a hugely lucky mother of one little angel (aged 2).

Am I the only one bored senseless at home? It's so hard to find someone to talk to (besides the little one)

What else do people do to stop from going around the bend?????

Sorry Samuelsmum I wish I could relate, but alas no. Between caring for my DD, picking up after my DF, washing, cleaning, dishes, mums group, and the bubhub...I don't have time to scratch my (you know what). Who has time to get bored??:confused:

i too do get bored! i get excited with DP drives up the drive way :D. I go to a mothers group 2 mornings a week, which is excellent to get out. Have you thought about maybe studying? I have found that this keeps me pretty busy! :D.

hello & welcome! I only found bub hub myself at the start of the month and this does help with the boredom a lot,i now find between DD & bub hub i do a lot less!:o

Hi there samuelsmum,

I get bored as well during the week except on mondays when i go to my mums place. I love playing with my baby girl but its nice to have that adult conversation.
I use to talk to my neighbour but she has recently left her husband and moved out of the house with the kids.


Bubhub is great to come to.

Playgroups/mothersgroups and studying as Mel suggested are great ways to keep yourself busy, and you get to talk to adults...

Maybe take up a hobby??

Everyone is so caring and friendly here.

Sammy has a pretty active morning we get out for his swimming, bikeriding, mothers group, in-laws, playground etc.

He knocks off to bed at about 1pm for 2 hours. There's only so much housework I can do before craving for some adult conversation and mental stimulation. I don't think I have any probs keeping busy but a little chit chat would be great! Thank god for bubhub and the internet!!!

I going to have to post a few jokes and things later...
