Just heard My Sharona on Channel 9 and felt that I needed to share it with you.
No point of having it spinning around in my head alone :D
Signed
Ooooooooh, My Sharona!
I have been singing that song since I saw it also!!! I knew it would get stuck in there and bounce around for awhile!!! :D But its better than the song that has been driving me crazy all day, "Accidents Happen" from DS's Thomas The Tank Engine dvd!!!

Bom ba bom bom ba bom ba bom bom ba bom ba bom bom ba ba ba baba!
Oh thanks MM - now I have it stuck too!
Just so you can sing the whole song!!! :D
Oo my little pretty one, pretty one
When you gonna give me some time, Sharona?
Oo you make my motor run, my motor run
Gun it coming off of the line, Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
I always get it up with a touch of the younger kind
My-ee ey-ee by-ee ahee ah woo!
Ma ma ma my Sharona
Come a little closer, over here
Close enough to look in my eyes, Sharona
Keep a little mystery, kissin' me
Runnin' down the length of my thigh, Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
I always get it up from a touch of the younger kind
My-ee ey-ee by-ee ahee ah woo!
Ma ma ma my Sharona
Ma ma ma my Sharona
When ya gonna get to me, get to me
Is it just a matter of time, Sharona
Is it a destiny, a destiny
Or is it just a game in my mind, Sharona
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind
I always get it up from a touch of the younger kind
My-ee ey-ee by-ee ahee ah woo!
Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ma
Myee ey-ee by-ee ahee ah woo!
Ma ma ma my Sharona
Ooooh my Sharona

Love it when someone else is similarly afflicted!
That's the spirit ladies!
Now, there's an idea for the Brisbane Dinner, Mrs Draught - somewhere that will let us all bop along to My SHarona!

Indigo - THE BIG 1 TOMORROW!!!!
My Sharona was my absolute favourite song when I was six and it was on countdown all the time. I have very vivid memories of running naked and dripping wet out of the bath to see it on countdown.
At the time though, I thought it was called Buddy Sharoopa and that it went "buddy buddy buddy ah wooo".

Thanks for that.
Not only do I have that song swimming around in my head I was just reminded of how old I am.
That song takes me back to many a blue light disco ... sneaking wine ... and pashing boys.
