View Full Version : I am already addicted to this site!
Hey there eveyone!
I have been looking around on Bub Hub the last couple of days, have only just signed up today - and am already hooked! There is so much information and so many lovely people to talk to. I looked at another American site and it just wasn't as nice as this Aussie one!!
I'm 25 and first baby is due on Oct 5th - can't wait! My partner and I are moving to the Blue Mountains next week, so I would love to hear from some people up there who have babies/are pregnant or are complete child rearing gurus!!!
Hopefully chat soon :D
Mel
Hi mel, welcome and congratulations on new bub, how exciting! my hubby and i were in the blue mountains, in blackheath(loved it there too, would love to move back one day) and my in laws are in lithgow. its so nice up that way, especially this time of yr, but its always so bloody cold! thats the one thing i didnt like(especially as my husband was always so stingy with the heating!) good luck with your move, talk to you more soon!
Hi Mel!
I'm addicted too! It's so much fun chatting to everyone and you actually learn helpful stuff at the same time! how good is that! :D
Good luck with your move and congratulations on your pregnancy!
Look forward to talking to you!

Hi Mel,
I'm not from around there but welcome to you anyway!!
Bet your excited about the bub!!
Thanks for the welcome ladies!
Well we've moved, which is always such a horrible job, but we had lots of people helping. All I did was tell everyone what to do and where to put stuff, no one would let me lift anything!!
Our house, in Mt Victoria, is gorgeous and quite new so its got central heating and a combustion heater to combat the winter weather. It's so nice to finally feel settled into what will become our family home!
I got a tiny pot belly last week which is very exciting - I've been waiting for ages to see baby poke out!! My partner was very excited to notice it too - and is happy to be seeing all the changes!
Anyway - got cookies baking in my new oven - better go get them out!
Chat again soon :)

Hi! I'm another newbie too and look forward to meeting you. As I said to one of the other girls - the only advice I will give as the mother of a 15mo - enjoy your pre bub sleep as much as you can! Iwouldn't trade my sweetie for sleep now but your pre baby sleep is blissfully different - enjoy it while you can!
