Hiya, I'm a 32yr old mum of a 6mth old girl and looking to meet other ladies within the area or in Brisbane itself. I have just returned from the mining town of Kalgoorlie WA, where I lived with my Geologist husband and before that I have lived in Brisbane for about 10yrs. I am a Registered Nurse by profession and would love to meet other mum's who want to not only talk about our babies but have conversations about other things that are happening in the world. I'm not in Brisbane but also used to live in Kalgoorlie working for Placer Dome and WORKING FOR geologists :p Kinda similar!

We moved back to perth in May of 04 and I also have a 6 month old daughter named Ava.

do you miss Kalgoorlie or glad to see sho9t of it.

I miss our friends mostly but really loved living there.

Yes I have to say my time in Kal was lets just say....not that memorable!! Nice enough place but sooooo boring and so isolated from everywhere. Anyway my hubbie worked for 'Goldfields' in Kambalda.....he loved it there.. Out on the salt lakes. Anyway Molly was born on the 9/8/06 and life hasn't been the same since. :eek: No it all good...as you know it just takes some adjusting. She is currently suffering from her first cold and life really sux for her at the moment. It also doesn't help that it is about 32 deg and 80% Humidity!!!! Anyway great to chat...will be on here from time to time. Enjoy the rest of your week...cheers Karla :)
