*Just complaining* I don't want him to go...

:rolleyes: My hubby will be going away for 6 months soon and I really don't want him to go... This is a new feeling for me as I'm normally ok with his job and the time he spends away, but our lifestyle has changed we have a newborn and we have moved to a new state...
I know there is nothing I can do, and I actually think that is what bothers me, there is no amount of complaining/asking/wishing or anthing that will change the situation so I just need to build a bridge and get over it...but I just want him to stay home, and sleep next to me every night...:sleeping:

I know the exact feeling that you are describing. Actually, it hurts my heart too reading your post.:crying:

My DH is in the Navy & i am so aware of what you are saying....

You poor thing, i wish i could give you a big hug & tell you everything is going to be ok. Coz it will & you know that. It only hurts real bad for a while & then you kind of grow numb to it.

Make the most of the time you have before he goes - i know ive cried & gotten angry at DH before he's had to go away & then when he's gone, wish that i spent more time just "Being" with him.

my hubby will be missing our sons 1st birthday cause he is away for 7 weeks :(

and he might be missing the birth of his second child cause he might have to go for 8months

so i do feel for you :) big huge hugs

he nearly also missed the birth of our first child they had to fly him home for it. I had my little man on the friday night and he had to be back at work on the Monday morining .

i am new to this site and i was reading what you were saying and i have to see i too know how you are both feeling. my hubby just got back from a 7 week stint away and i thought i was going to go crazy with 2 kids. he got back today lol and to top it off his parents just arrived for a week. lucky me
