Period after Miscarriage

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a good place to put this question, however I need some help.

I miscarried on July 4th. I didn't need a D & C and i bled till the 11th of July. I got my first period on the 4th of August.

My question is this. I haven't yet got my period for this month, and I haven't even got any of the normal symptoms. I'm usually regular. Is this normal? I don't think i'm pregnant again because i had all the pregnancy symptoms extremely severe and i feel fine.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried yet?

I have heard that your period can be irregular after a m/c so perhaps wait a few days. On the other hand you are more fertile after one so it may be worth doing a HPT??? I didnt get my period after my m/c and D&C on the 6 of july this year and now i am pregnant again.

I've heard too that your periods can be irregular after a m/c too - though I seem to have been one of the lucky ones.

I m/c'd naturally in February, my next period was right on schedule 3 weeks later. We were lucky enough to conceive during that next cycle.

If you're feeling fine then I wouldn't worry. You could do a HPT or have a chat to your GP if you have any questions.

I was like Faeml. Had a mc, got af 5 weeks later, then fell pregnant.

I think you should probably do a test. Every period I have had post M/C has been slightly out of whack but all following ones have been right on time.

like rynosmum i would also do a test.

after my m/c my first period came about 3 weeks later and then the next was just over a month after.....so they can be out of wack....


but i would do a test just for peace of mind

After my miscarriage I was 5 days late for AF when normally I am spot-on with a 28day cycle. So it does happen. But defiantely do a test cause you never know :)

I bled for a long time after my miscarriage so I was unsure of when my miscarriage finished and my next period begun.
I have my fingers crossed for you though :fingerscrossed: it might be a nice surprise.

I miscarried at 8 weeks, didn't have a D&C, had one period then got pregnant. That was my quickest at time spent ttc.

My af was also up the creek after each m/c i had..

I haven't done a HPT yet. I know when i was pregnant I kept doing them and they kept coming up :bfn:. So this time i thought i'd be sensible and just wait a week to see if they are on their way.

It would be a rather large surprise if i was because i'm in my last 4 weeks of finishing my university degree. I'll be a primary school teacher.

However i'll :fingerscrossed: and hope that what ever the outcome, it'll right itself soon!
