I'm wondering if anyone else has a problem with their bub gulping air in when they're feeding?

I have tried every different feeding position, and detaching/reattaching properly etc, but it doesn't seem to help. I burp him several times during a feed, but he still gets terrible wind pain and I'm sure this is the cause.

Any suggestions?

thanks!

i found that i had a very fast flow and it caused rylea to gulp, do you have alot of milk because that might be it, rahmi is still little and might be hard for him still, if it is that it will settle, also i know you said you have tried every position but me lying on my back and lying rylea face down on my boob really worked as she was working a bit more for the milk.
just a suggestion, sorry not that much help.
keep trying it might get better:D

Hi,
Can you hear the baby gulping air? is he pulling off the breast during the feed to catch his breath? If so you may have a fast flow rylea's mum said, I would try her suggestion of Posture feeding.
Otherwise if you aren't noticing him pull of during the feed to catch his breath or gulping air it may be something in your diet causing the wind.

I have the same problem and was told I have a fast flow. She ends up so distressed she doesn't seem to like any position and doesn't feed properly. What foods cause wind in babies - brocholi, lentils etc??
