I have been putting off and putting off going to my GP to get my Conscientious Objector Form signed.. worried about what he'd say, not wanting the confrontation, argument, disagreement..
Well, I did it! He happily signed for me, too. He said to me that I was the mother, therefore I knew what was best for my child. And that he could see that I had researched thoroughly and was happy to sign the forms. I actually got him to sign 2 copies - 1 to send off, one for me to keep in case I am ever confronted with a situation where non-vaccination of my child becomes an issue in any kind of social situation.
I was so relieved. I am so proud of myself!

Good on you Jessie and good idea to get the extra copy too, i'm sure i copied mine but i don't know where i put the darn thing!
But yeah, it certainly is daunting so good that you had an understanding and thoughtful doctor!

Yay!!!! Well Done Jessi!!!!!
I had no idea there was a form to sign... so when you enroll her at school, is that form all they need? As I had to prove at every school that my kids were vaccinated. And then what does the school do with non vaccinated kids? tell them to stay home if there is an outbreak of something?

Yep, I just need to show them my form that has been witnessed and signed by my GP.
