Whens the next one?

DD is 10 months old and all I get is whens the next one. grrrr. I dont want another one. I have an "easy baby" and thats hard enough.

I do want one more but like you am finding one a handful LOL I love him to bits but I cant fathom having a newborn and O to care for as well :eek: :p

I think Ill stick to the one for a little while longer and become that supermum you were talking about when O is alot older :)

I also get this often, DD is almost 11 months old & my response is when the baby is coming out of hoohoo than we'll talk. Maybe you could try this, its lighthearted but ppl still seem to get the point that its not open for discussion.

Hear hear, I'm with you shed! Not even if my lovely DH's begging for more (remember this is my lovely husband I'm talking about, the guy who's 100% there for us from helping to change the nappy to clean the bottles from day one til now!)

Thomas is our one and only. Whenever I get clucky all I need to do is looking all the pics and videos; the pregnancy, labours, the birth of Thomas I've got them all! :D

I let other people to worry about "you-shouldnt-have-one-kid" instead, and I enjoy my good life! He he

Don't worry girls, if you only want one you're crazy and/or selfish, if you want more then three the same rule applies :rolleyes:

If you want the next one straight away you're crazy, if you wait more than 5 yrs you're selfish..... so since we can never please everyone, just do what makes you happy!!!

Then again when its your man that wants more and you won't budge... lets just say there have been 2 divorces in my family for that very reason. I think it's important to be with someone who's on the same page as you for all those important decisions, the draw to parenthood will enventually rip you apart if you aren't going the same direction... JMO

That's why I was extatic to find a man as intent on having lots of kids asap as I was! :D

There is never really a "right" answer to these questions when people ask you... People can be so judgemental... I had that question when I was in the hospital! I was like are you kidding I have a tear and have just been thru 26 hours of labour and your asking whens the next one... NEVER!

But I have to admit almost 2mths down the track and I think I wouldnt mind another... :o

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Amy. I hope you dont use that as a bible in your relationship, compromise and good communications are essential in healthy marriage/r'ship JMHO

My DH loves me too much so he's happy with whatever I choose, he wouldnt want me to go thru all over again (I was in labour since week 30 :eek: )
