I did it...I Expressed

I had an engagement party to go to last night and as I want to wear a dress i decided i would try and express enough milk for DS 9:30pm feed.

I have heard of mums that have no troubles BF but cant express but....i did it. I expressed a full 125ml over 2 days and DS drank the whole lot. And it was also good cause i was able to tell DH that it was my night off and that he was feeding DS so i could socialise and catch up with my cousins.

It does give you a certain sense of pride when you're able to express doesn't it?

I know it sounds totally goofy, but when I would tally up my store of EBM in the freezer (just to check that I'd enough for the coming working week) it gave me as much pleasure as counting the money in my money box when I was a little kid.

xkwzit I did the same with my freezer stash when I had number 2.. He couldn't get boobie milk from the boobie so I expressed for him and I'd keep tally of how much I had. hehehehe
